These were pictures taken by Carl Neely at the Feendale Concourse event at North Coast Hitching Post. The buggy was built in 1894 and the carousel horse was found in the brush behind a garage and restored by Heidi (pictured).

Isn't my Husband handsome? And about the dress... It's a 1920 vintage that I found at Little Shop of Hers in Eureka for $40 bucks!!. I lowered the neckline, brought in the waist, cut off the sleeves and used fine fishing line to sew on the lace. The hand made vintage gloves came from a little antique shop in Arcata.
It made me so happy to put it all together.

It's off season. I've been working on the barn floor, feeding my bees. planning my garden and riding my horse. Life is good. There is nothing so much worth doing as messing around on the ranch.
Lucky me, a hot bath at sunset...I look forward to it all day.
