Sherry came in with scraps of lace from her Mom's headpiece and veil. We pieced the scraps together to create a new border of lace at the end of Sherry's veil. The end result was a beautiful addition to Sherry's look. Having a beautiful bride, wanting to add something from her Mom, is what we are here for, creating new from vintage.
Even on your Wedding Day, you can keep others safe. We can use scraps from your dress so you are coordinated.
Here's another. With this, the bride had a golden theme with jewelry, gold embroidery in her dress, and gold accents throughout. Mom's headpiece became the brides new heirloom.

Originally, we cut down Mom's cathedral veil to create a short Brides veil. Now with what was left, several years later, we took the rest is Grandma's veil, to create a First Communion veil. Three generations of use. Now hopefully twenty or so years from now, the little communicant will come in for us to design for her wedding.
Took Sheila's mom's headpiece from some thirty years ago and created a new, modern piece for Sheila's wedding in June.
It has been awhile. We are still creating hairpieces out of scraps of fabric from the Bride, the Mom or the Grandma. Scraps are treasures.
Some times we get veils in that need repair. Luckily, being in business for over 30 years, we have accumulated different lace and were able to hid the rip.
Hillary had a vision of her perfect veil. We created it with a venice lace applique and alot of tulle
Barbie Doll
The bride’s Barbie Doll from a cake she had as a youth was used in a cake for her shower. We created a tiny headpiece and veil to match her wedding veil. The mother brought in her original cake top from her wedding, and we used part of it to make a headpiece for the bride. They took a picture of the Barbie Doll cake to make unique Thank You notes.

I couldn’t help but be intrigued by this segment as I am a restoration and recovery specialist for wedding veils, headpieces and accessories. I love to create wonderful, new pieces from gowns and treasured headpieces; bits and pieces of jewelry and accessories from families can create a beautiful headpiece, or with an outdated wedding gown we can take pieces to create a stunning veil. A Tuscan inspired wedding in the southern suburb of Chicago, Jackie and Calvin’s wedding included a beautiful hairclip done by us. They were able to take my mom's 38 year wedding cathedra length veil and turn it into my dream veil for my wedding in Italy.
