Are y’all ready for the weekend update?? Take a seat, it’s a lot lol. This was an insane, over the top Sweet 16!

-We did 4 HUGE arches: one for the cake table, photo backdrop, entrance, and entrance to the dance floor (the smallest was the cake table at about 9’ tall with the largest being the entrance to the dance floor at approximately 14’ tall).
-A complete 12’ tall balloon wall as a backdrop to the gift table
-An arrangement to frame a “Sweet 16” marquee display
-And a custom graphic to display on the Corbin Center’s TVs in the foyer

The clients loved the Glitterville aesthetic and had many of their own decorations for the cake/cupcake tables and throughout. We selected colors directly from the decor and props they planned to use to compliment their vision for the overall look.

We ordered just shy of 6,000 balloons❗️for this set up and took 5 days of prep (2 days at the venue) with a whole team 😱

Ok so we may or may not have missed a few weekend updates 😅. But I tell ya, we’ve either been sick or swamped around here! After having a kid seems like I’ve gotten sick more times in the last year than I probably have in my life 🤣

Anywho, let’s get down to bidness 😉

🍭Several weeks ago we did a gorgeous pastel design for an ice cream/sprinkle themed “Sweet One” birthday party.

🧸🍼Then we did an arrangement for a baby shower for a sweet boy. We did custom built props, with a custom name decal! *Ask us how we can customize them for your event!”

🛻🛞Next, we did a monster truck themed arrangement for our friend Jeff’s 5th birthday! We did an arch with banner backdrop, and 2 columns with monster truck toppers! This arrangement was made complete with foil explosion/stars, tire balloons, marble/agate balloons and of course several monster truck balloons! We adore this arrangement! 📷🔵Finally to wrap up the last few weeks, we helped a sweet friend set up and throw a UK themed party for her husband’s 50th birthday! We provided outdoor seating along with on-theme table decor, and a photo wall! (Peep that awesome arch prop again! Did I mention we can customize it just for you?!) We copied some of our friend’s photos, strung them across the wall and everyone was given the opportunity to find a photo of themselves with the birthday guy, or their favorite photo of him and write a birthday message on the back to cherish through the years. Such a sweet addition to the evening!

We have been so blessed to have a full schedule spreading smiles and helping people celebrate! We took the weekend off to rest and recover, but stay tuned, we’ve got more amazing designs coming your way! 😃

Weekend update y’all!

🎈As you already saw, we got to work with some of Corbin’s finest got the Nibroc parade! State Farm celebrated 100 years of service! We decked out their float with 2 sets of 4ft tall “100” balloons mosaics, as well as a large arch!

🚀🪐We got to help celebrate our friend London’s “First Trip Around The Sun” with an out of this world ring design!

🟢 Then we were honored to have been asked to create a few pieces to add some festivity for Church On The Rock’s foyer as they celebrated their 30 Year Anniversary! We did a chunky garland framing each side, as well as a set of columns for their Connect area. (Included an obligatory pic with the banner for scale reference 😅). Congratulations to our friends and pastors at COTR, the Sarvers, for 30 years of ministry!

💛Finally, one of our new offerings…Grab n’ go garlands! We make it, you take it! Send me your design, I’ll make it, complete with command strips, or your preferred way to hang it. It will be completely assembled, you just bring a vehicle big enough to haul it, and hang on site! Perfect for folks who have an event on a day we’re unavailable for set up/delivery, pick it up morning of, or the day before! Great “diy” for you without the hassle of actually making the garland, plus, save that delivery fee 😉. We got to make one of these this past weekend for a client, it was super cool to be able to load it into the vehicle, give them instructions and send it on its way! (You can see a member of the client’s party carrying it away in the last pic.)

Y’all know it’s time for a weekend recap!

✏️We did a (very) last minute setup for the Back to School Bash at Gypsy & James! We got the message from a dear friend that they needed pencil columns the night before and we were happy to accommodate! (We’re always happy to accommodate, even short notice, so long as we have the product available to recreate your vision!)

💙We also helped our friends celebrate a sweet baby’s arrival! She asked for a set of columns, and we were happy to oblige with a custom decal! We also whipped up a quick impromptu garland on site for a photo backdrop.

By now I’m sure those on and off Facebook have either heard of the devastating floods in Eastern Kentucky, or know someone impacted. So many have lost so much!

Hazel & Ivy will be working with our local church - Redemption Church in London, to send aid to victims of the flood.

If you’re interested in being a part of aiding these broken communities, Redemption will be accepting donations until the end of the day Wednesday, August 3rd. A team of volunteers will then be delivering these supplies to several of the affected communities the morning of Thursday, August 4th.

Items needed:

-Water (Bottles & Gallons)
-Non perishable foods (canned/jarred or otherwise prepackaged food, chips, crackers etc)
-Hygiene Items
-Baby Items: wipes, diapers, etc
-Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels)

These items can be dropped off at 101 Calvary Ct, London, Ky.

Not local enough to bring items? You can still help!

We got to do an awesome set up this weekend at the beautiful Luleigh’s venue in Williamsburg! We did a lovely sage green, with ivory and gold accents. We also got to custom design the welcome sign, how cute! Pictures do not do justice to just how big this set up was, for reference the easel on the left was 5.5ft tall!

Little Baker is already so loved! 🥰

Y‘all, it’s VBS season!

This year Vacation Bible School at Redemption was Hay Day themed! 👩‍🌾🌾🐓 Today wraps up our VBS with family fun day, so let’s do a quick recap!

🐄 We did a barnyard themed arch with super cute cow print accents

🌽We made 2 large ears of corn (how cute is that glittery silk 😍)

🌳We constructed a tree for “Zacchaeus” to climb

🐷And we made a roof for our barn backdrop

How cool does everything look?! We loved these designs! Thank you so much to our sweet helpers over these several days! 😘

This past weekend we did some great designs!

-On Saturday we did a cute sage/ivory design with our boxwood backdrop, showering baby Oliver Chase as we await his arrival!

-Sunday we celebrated our friend Maverick’s 2nd birthday! We were originally going to decorate outside, but the weather caused us to rethink our design a bit and put things inside. We loved the Shrek theme!

Weekend recap! We were able to do some amazing designs this weekend!

🍼💙 We started by doing a garland for a baby shower celebrating sweet little Stetson (how adorable is that name?!) We were given a picture to recreate, so we made sure we got all those colors in there!

❤️ 🤍 💙🤰🏼We also celebrated a pregnancy announcement for our friends who wanted the theme “Red, White and Due!” How exciting!

This past weekend we celebrated our friend Cooper’s 5th birthday! His party was out of this world!🪐🚀👩‍🚀

We did a garland, an adorable “blast off” rocket design, and we also did a mosaic 5 (the inflatable rocket and backdrop wasn’t ours, but was super cute!)

Happy Monday y’all! Here’s our weekend recap!

🪩Friday we celebrated our fav sisters, Avah and Lilah! They had a rockin’ birthday party at Finley’s and we celebrated 80’s style. They wanted to incorporate some of their favorite things: neon, 80’s and donuts, and we did just that! We incorporated custom balloons featuring disco balls, boom box & an 80’s style cellphone and of course donuts! Super fly for some awesome girls!

💍Saturday we did a large arch (approx 11 ft tall) and a couple of balloon bouquets to top some pedestals for a client hosting a household/wedding shower as they count down the days to “I Do”! The request was boho theme with terracotta, cream and gold, we added pampas grass and palm spears/fans for that special touch. We absolutely love this combo! A beautiful arch fit for a boho queen 😍

We're a little late to post, but congratulations to all 2022 graduates! We had a *very* full graduation weekend and took an impromptu "vacation" of sorts to enjoy time with our family.

Graduation Weekend recap:

🎓 We started the weekend with Pearl Apparel at their School's Out Vendor Fair. We created an organic focal piece on the stage area, as well as a structured set of columns (nearly 8' tall!) for North Laurel, and a set for South Laurel.

🎓We helped a graduate from South Laurel celebrate with a custom organic balloon wall (approximately 6' wide x 6' tall), 2 pairs of structured columns, as well as centerpieces!

🎓 We celebrated another graduate from South Laurel by providing set up & tear down of seating/linens for 60, a photo backdrop, as well as worked with several vendors for custom desserts - 2 tier cake and cupcakes from Angela N Terry Shell and and custom cookies from Jody Gregory with One Broke Cookie! (If you need some custom desserts, hit them up!)

🎈Finally we did a balloon hoop and mosaic #7 to celebrate a sweet set of twins on their 7th birthday! Happy "Bluey" birthday!

This weekend we surprised a friend’s daughter by sneaking in (with permission of course!) and making a balloon arch in their home to celebrate her homecoming!

We were also blessed to do a balloon garland for a baby shower! Baby Paisley Jane will surely be blessed with the best 🥰

We were blessed with several events this weekend!

💕 🧜‍♀️ We celebrated a sweet little mermaid’s 4th birthday and did an impromptu focal piece over the cake table 😍

💙💚 We did centerpieces for a Donate Life event, celebrating 3 years since receiving a new liver!

🖤🤎 We finished the weekend by setting up a Fantasy Football Awards event! Complete with interactive “flick football” centerpieces and a football toss game! Mandatory pic of the league winner and loser 😂.
