We regret to inform you that we have suffered a loss within our community this week. Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of the passing of Wayne Shaw, a cherished member and former president of the Long Beach Rod and Gun Club. Wayne was not only an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman, but also a devoted family man who took great pride in being a loving father to his two sons.

Please join us, along with Wayne's family, this Wednesday, April 10th at 2pm as we come together to remember and honor his memory. It is a time for us to reflect on the moments we all shared with him.

Wayne had a special way of brightening up any room he entered, always sharing his positive energy with those around him. After a long day of hunting, he would often treat us to his deliciously cooked burgers. He was always there for us in times of need, whether it was for hunting, fishing, or lending a helping hand to repair a fellow member's shed roof.

Wayne frequently spoke about his admiration for his beloved wife and his immense pride in his two incredible sons. We have had the privilege of watching these young men grow into outstanding individuals. While we have lost an exceptional person, we are grateful for the time we had to share in his company. Wayne, your presence in our lives has made a positive and lasting impact. You will be deeply missed.

Thank you, Wayne, for the years of companionship you bestowed upon us.
