I never have to go back to civilization. I married the boy next door who also grew up on LBI and we were married in 2006 on our beach. We approached the wedding as a way to reunite with family and friends old and new. People still talk about it today on what a fun low key wedding it was and how much time they had to enjoy everyone’s company. We had plenty of time to visit for family and friends due to our extended wedding timeline plan. We rent for various occasions year round; we live upstairs from which we run The Wed and Bed Milestone Event Planning Business. And we book for Vacation Rentals, Retreat and Business rentals. We also have concierge services, and an online bartering network. I am a member of the Southern Ocean County of Commerce and have all the connection one needs at my fingertips to insure your wedding on LBI to be a beautiful event. Let us help you plan your timeline of events, from the bachelorette party, beach wedding ceremony through the honeymoon. If you already have a wedding planned and are looking for a great home and location which to relax and play while waiting for the big day consider what we have to offer. We also have access to other homes on the block if you would like to keep your friends and family close by in a more comfortable setting than a hotel. Think about staying the week instead of the weekend when it is our summer season and enjoy your honeymoon here. Our home is steps to the beach, sleeping 20, with 8 1/2 bedrooms (2 with ocean views), 4 baths, outside shower, a living room on the first and second floor with ocean views. For outdoor living the backyard has 2 large dining tables in a semi private backyard with a gas grill for entertaining. For spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean the 4th floor rooftop deck is where you want to be. Arranged with a lovely outdoor living room, large dining table, chaise lounges it is a comfortable way to enjoy the outdoors in complete comfort. On the Oceanside of the deck there is a hot tub that will have you in awe of Mother Nature’s surrounding. The sunrise will ease you into your new beginning of life, sunsets are a beautiful backdrop to toast your friends and family’s efforts. When night falls enjoy some star glazing it will be a perfect time to seal it with a kiss. Many couples have had their pre wedding dinners here, anniversary parties, cocktail parties and birthday celebrations. If you decide to book The Wed and Bed for your accommodations and need event planning, I charge $50 per hour for event planning with a $500 retainer to start, a 50% down payment of the house rental cost a signed lease, and a contract with a checklist of wedding services you would like me to provide. If you are just renting the property I will need 50% of the house rental cost to hold your timeline.
