The movies begin approx at 8:00pm or when it gets dark enough to show the movie. There is plenty of FREE PARKING after 6pm! We have kettlecorn and Food Trucks. This year we will be showing movies at Granada Beach on Tuesdays and LBCC on Thursdays. Pet Friendly!

Moonlight Movies on the Beach is BACK, Long Beach!! 🎉

This morning, I got a call that made my heart soar – Mayor Rex Richardson himself! He shared the incredible news that our beloved summer tradition is saved! 🙌

I'm so grateful to Mayor Rex, the city council, and our amazing community partners who stepped up to keep the magic alive: Port of Long Beach, LBS Financial, Cambrian Home Care, Long Beach City College Foundation, Long Beach Local App and Don Temple Storage. Your dedication to Long Beach is truly inspiring! 💖

And of course, a huge thank you to all of YOU for the outpouring of love and support for this cherished community event. It's a testament to the power of coming together and fighting for what we hold dear. 💖

😔 Moonlight Movies on the Beach 2024 Cancelled 😔

To our beloved Moonlight Movies on the Beach community,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the 2024 Summer Series. Unfortunately, due to rising costs and a lack of sponsorships, we are unable to produce the quality event that you have come to expect and deserve.

This was not an easy decision, and we know it will be disappointing news for many of you. Moonlight Movies on the Beach has been a cherished Long Beach tradition for years, bringing our community together for unforgettable evenings under the stars. We are grateful for the support we have received over the years, and we will cherish the memories we have created together.

We understand that this news may raise questions, and we want to be transparent with you. Please know that we explored every possible option to make this summer's series happen, but the financial challenges proved insurmountable.

While we are saddened by this setback, we remain committed to the spirit of Moonlight Movies on the Beach. We are actively seeking solutions to bring the event back in the future and will keep you updated on our progress.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope to see you on the beach again soon!

Moonlight Movies on the Beach is back for 2022!

Presented by Long Beach Transit Moonlight Movies on the Beach is coming back for the summer of 2022! We will be posting the full movie schedule next week! This year we will be showing movies at Granada Beach and the LBCC Campus. Alfredo's Beach Club is always looking to be as inclusive as possible with our events and that is why we are showing movies at LBCC so people who can not make it all the way to Belmont Shore can enjoy these free movies. Also we will be continuing our Non Profit program where people can brings things to donate each night to a local charity.
