Before I dive into the drama, letโ€™s set the stage: Todays couple is obsessed with Game of Thrones, particularly the infamous Red Wedding, where chaos reigns and people meet rather gruesome fates. So, naturally, they decide to add a Game of Thrones flair to their ceremony. I was all set to read a beautifully dramatic passage when I confidently announced, โ€œToday, weโ€™re going to recreate the Red Wedding!โ€

And thenโ€”bam! One of the groomsmen suddenly face-plants like he just got ambushed by a Stark! At first, I thought it was a prank; I mean, who wouldnโ€™t? But nope! He had actually passed out, as if someone had slipped him some bad wedding wine. We had to hit the pause button on the ceremony to revive him, get him some water, and plop him in a chair like a fallen knight at a banquet. I canโ€™t wait to see the videoโ€”because let me tell you, the timing was straight out of a tragic comedy!

Crazy weekend this weekend we have 40 weddings scheduld. 5 of them were Beach Set Upโ€™s 10 of them at our wedding chapel and the rest at various venues from Santa Barbara to San Diego and everything in between.

Yesterday I was at Loramar winery in Temecula. Did a wonderful ceremony for this couple who incorporated the wine box and the vows they had read to each other during their first look. On their one year anniversary theyโ€™re going to reopen this box and read the vows and drink the wine one year.
