Last week i had a couple who loves John Mayer. So I wrote their story using titles of John Mayer songs. How many can you spot?

You were going thru life and felt the gravity of the world free falling around you. You felt Heartbreak Warfare everywhere you went like you were Slow Dancing in a Burning Room filled with Vultures. You were Waiting on the World to Change. Who Says you cant be Dreaming with a Broken Heart
Then you saw this new light Kind of a Neon light. It provided Clarity. No Such Thing had ever happened to you. When you met you were on the Edge of Desire, Who Says you could have Love on the Weekend. You thought Half of my heart could go to you. No one could now stop this train. My couple today love Taylor Swift. So i wrote their love story using Swifty song titles. Let me know what you think.....

Today is about a "Love Story". What started as a "Blank Space" went beyond your "Wildest Dreams".

If we go "Back to December" before your relationship together. you found so much "Bad Blood" you thought there was always "Teardrops on My Guitar". You knew you needed to "Begin Again" you dreamed that some "Enchanted" person would ride in on a "White Horse".
Someone who was "Fearless" but also "Delicate" and had some "Style" a
nd was not "Mean."
And then you met, and you had that feeling that you couldn’t "Shake It Off" you thought "I Knew You Were Trouble" but "You Belong with Me"
Being so far away you worried "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" but you knew "All Too Well" she was "Mine", When it was time to propose, your face was "Red" and you proclaimed, "Long Live" our relationship and "Speak Now"
If you want to marry me. And the words yes became "Our Song."

And that is our “Era” The Story of Us

Yes, yet another bad DJ story.
Before I tell you the story, I need to urge all of the couples who are planning on getting married to choose a professional DJ each and every time.
Today my couple did not.
I arrive at the Ceremony site which is about a football field length away from the reception site. I see a microphone stand with a microphone which is connected to nothing so I find the DJ He speaks little English, but we are able to communicate and he says I wasn’t told there was a separate Ceremony site. When in fact, I know that he was told. He set up a speaker about 30 feet away from the reception site thinking that that will work so I asked him how are we going to connect the microphone and he says I don’t know.
He said the words that I expected, but hate hearing “I’ve never been a DJ at a wedding before“
In my head I’m saying “REALLY?”
So I did with any professional Officiant would do. Went out to my car and got my mobile battery powered wireless Soundsystem out of my car. Plugged it in and had it set up within four minutes.
I showed the DJ how to pair his phone and gave him the sound cues. For some unknown reason during the processional he kept hitting so I had to tell him to keep playing then when I wanted him to stop so I can introduce the bride. He still kept playing the song so I’ve had to go ahead and introduce the bride and go back to him and say change the song, which he did finally.

My Soundsystem worked perfectly. Everybody could hear the ceremony was amazing. The couple had a blast and now it’s time for the kiss motion to the DJ to play the final song and no music is coming out of the speaker after about 30 seconds, the music started playing and everybody left.

This may not sound like a lot, but it just goes to show what a professional would do compared to a person who has no clue. So please let me reiterate, please higher professional wedding DJs. Make sure that they have done Weddings before. Make sure you review with them the ceremony and reception audio requirements and confirm that they will have the property equipment. Make sure that they are able to communicate easily with the other vendors. The other vendors at a wedding are not there to take up the slack of somebody who is not doing their job or to do on the job training. Having a nonprofessional in a wedding environment, pull the other vendors away from what they are supposed to be doing and what they are paid to do.

Finally, always choose a Great Officiant.
