We are back this Friday! We will start at 5pm and will be serving a Fried Chicken Buffet with all the fixins! We did this before and it was a blast! Make sure you come on down!

Let’s talk Super bowl Sunday! We are back at 12pm-5pm, so come on by and get some Shady Grove! We will have a few different specials for the day. Stay tuned for more announcements! One of the specials will be Fried Chicken buckets and Rib Buckets. Either a whole chicken or whole rack of ribs, with two sides and biscuits. It’s been awhile since we made fried chicken, so I might eat it all myself if y’all don’t get over to Brouwerij West fast enough!

If you missed it, no worries! We are bringing Smoked Short Rib Mac this Friday at ! We were very happy with the way this turned out and thought we should let more people get a chance to try it. We are there from 5pm-10pm. We have decided to also bring the Short Rib Mac to Sunday. Thank y’all for all the support. We look forward to serving y’all up some Long Beach BBQ this weekend!

We are bringing these back to this Friday, 5-9pm! Its been awhile and it just hit us. When was the last time we made bacon milk buns with quick pickles and a pomegranate reduction? Well its been too long, is the answer. Come on by and get a couple!

We are excited to be back at this Friday for 4th Fridays on !! Come on by and enjoy some good drinks and good food! If you are doing dry January they got you covered! Pictured above is one of the dishes we will be serving. This is a Smoked Short Rib Mac n Cheese with creamy horseradish sauce! This is a rich comforting dish. This and a glass of red wine while sitting next to their fire pits is a great way to spend part of your Friday night!

Howdy.
We are very sorry but we have to cancel our pop up at tomorrow. I decided to take a misstep off my porch last night walking to the truck, and hurt my ankle pretty bad. So I am pretty immobile. As always they will have great beer, football, and great food covering for us. Thank y’all for always supporting us. We will be back at Brouwerij west next Sunday.

Howdy and Happy New Year! We are excited to kick off the New Year Right away! We are at tomorrow starting at 1pm, so you can start your new year off with some LB BBQ! On Friday we return to starting at 12pm. We are always so happy to get to cook there. Then we are back at Sunday for some bbq and football. Thanks for all the support, we are excited to spend another year bbq’in for y’all!

Merry Christmas from Shady Grove Foods! We hope youre having day is full of good cheer and good times with loved ones! We sure are thankful for all of you who allow us to keep doing what we love. We are excited as we roll into the new year and we aren’t going out of 2024 quietly. This Friday we are at with a special stew menu, in which we have a vegan option *gasp!*. We will also be at ales this Saturday and Sunday! We would love to see ya’ll one more time before the New Year!

We got chili back on the menu this weekend at , Saturday, and , Sunday! This soul warmer of a brisket chili, is great for the cooler weather and naturally is a perfect pairing to beer. Whether it be a crisp lager to cut through the rich chili or a robust stout to accentuate the richness; you really can’t go wrong!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. We hope you had a great day spending time with your friends and family. We spent yesterday and are spending today cooking with friends and family. We are so thankful for them. We are so thankful for all the great people we have gotten to meet during our journey of bbqin meat. We love you all and are beyond grateful for all the support we have received. This has been a wild year, but we are happy for what we have learned and the friends we have made along the way. We value the opportunity we get to share our food and family with y’all. Thank you.

Gumbo is back this Sunday at ! Come get warm with a bowl while watching some football! We will also have our tri tip dip on special. This sandwich is sliced tri tip on crusty bread brushed with bleu cheese horseradish sauce and served with a side of cajun brown sauce! Don’t miss out!

Howdy everyone! Its Halloween Week, and we hope you have a safe and fun time! We are back at ! This Sunday and will have pulled pork sandwiches back on special! These are slow smoked pork pulled and tossed in bbq sauce, and topped with pikliz on a brioche bun! See you Sunday!

4th Fridays on is upon us! We will be set up at ! We have a kind of new item on the menu featured today. These are the smoked sticky wings amd rice. They are a riff on our grilled sticky chicken we serve at . We smoke the wings then wok fry them and toss them in a modified version of our sticky glaze. They are served with rice and pickled mustard seeds and topped with cilantro and green onion. See ya tonight! 6pm-9pm

Have you had the bacon milk buns before? If you haven’t you gotta give ‘em a try. It’s a soft pillowy milk bun with a pomegranate hoisin reduction, quick pickles, green onion, cilantro, and a nice thick piece of bacon. I could probably eat 50. Come by on Friday 5pm-9pm and try them for yourself!

Alder and Sage has a great selection of wine, beers, and seasonal non alcoholic drinks to choose from, so there is something for everyone. They highly recommend trying these buns with Tenet Del Garda Riesling. Tasting notes: “ Nose of stone fruit, and a harmony of citrus. On the palate, great structure and balance, soft texture and excellent acidity. The finish is long and refined. Unlike a northern Riesling, this elegant wine is not overly acidic, and with very low residual sugar, the end is clean, fresh and re-inviting!“

Have you had the hobo nachos yet? This Sunday is your chance, if you haven’t. The toppings are cheddar cheese, jack cheese, and queso fresco, avo salsa, pico, tequila pickled jalapeños and our hobo beans. The hobo beans are fortified with bacon, chorizo and pulled pork. This is perfect for watching football.
