We’re moving! 🎉 After 24 years at 11 Florence Street, we’re excited to announce that Winston Flowers & Garden is moving to a new location! The Florence Street store will close to the public on June 29, 2024 and we will open a beautiful new space at in late August.

In preparation for the move, everything at the current location will be on sale beginning June 14th until closing day—or until items sell out! Our wide selection of plants, vases, candles, home décor, and more will be marked down up to 50%.

We’re looking forward to this transition and can’t wait to show you what we have in store! We’ll keep you updated via email, social media, and our website.

Created by Wendy Mendoza, a designer for our team, this piece is the definition of “goodbye winter, welcome spring and summer!” Featuring yellow ‘marit’ tulips, cymbidium orchids, garden roses, blue tweedia, pistachio branch, and viburnum, this arrangement is overflowing with rich textures!

We love a good love story. ❤️ Couple Jasmine and Niu requested a bouquet of burgundy and white for their January 11 elopement at City Hall in Manhattan. While creating the bouquet, our designer came across the most beautiful burgundy peonies—a rarity since they’re out of season—and upgraded the bouquet to include them. The happy couple shared the following feedback:

“Winston Flowers gave us top-notch service from the moment we inquired about our wedding. The team kindly worked with us to make sure that we got everything we wanted for both brides and our entire wedding party. Everyone raved about the flowers, in-person and in the photos. During the dark and chilly days of winter, there’s nothing like something fresh and green to brighten your spirits. But just like us, indoor plants need a little extra TLC to thrive when it’s cold outside. See below for our tips to keep your potted pretties happy and healthy all season long. 🪴

🌿 Time for a move: Shorter days mean less sunlight. Consider moving your plants closer to the window to bask in some extra rays.

🌿 Avoid over-watering: Some plants are less thirsty in lower light conditions, so wait until the soil has dried out before watering.

🌿 Keep those leaves clean: Dust accumulates more quickly when your windows are closed. Gently wipe down your plants to keep the foliage clean.

🌿 Take a plant care break: Many plants go semi-dormant during the winter to conserve energy, which is good news if you have a trip coming up—no plant sitter needed!
