That’s a wrap! Sugar Shack is done vending for the weekend!

We again sold out of brisket in an hour…the cobbler was also a huge hit! And the nachos…well you can never go wrong with nachos!

Our new menu item, peach cobbler, was a hit yesterday! I had to run to the supermarket to grab more peaches to make an even bigger batch for tonight. 🍑🍑🍑🍑

Soooooo thrilled with our results today at the Kansas City Barbecue Society World Invitational Day 1!!! With about 100 teams for competition (including the best teams in the world!), Andy Schaaf and Alan Larrimore teamed up and got a huge 12th place call in brisket and an unbelievable 13th place finish overall! Huge shout out to Alan Larrimore for crushing the pork entry, his first masters pork submission and getting an uber impressive 19th place call!

I’m (Sarah) so proud of these guys — and that Sugar Shack produces some amazing barbecue — aaaaand that the Kansas City Barbecue Society judges also recognize that. 💗

Congrats to all the winners — we are proud to join those amazing ranks!

2nd place call in ribs (out of 17!!) on Friday at a Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) sanctioned event.
