New 1 Star review from Lauren Riordan! - Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Fort Collins redbox+ Dumpsters at all. When ordering a replacement dumpster for a landscape project, my credit card was charged 3 times too many. In total, my credit card was charged 4 times within a matter of minutes, and 3 of those charges should not have existed. A total of $1,235 was overcharged. I immediately notified their office. They acknowledged one of the overcharges but did not acknowledge the other two, saying they couldn’t see them on their end. I felt very unsettled with this, so I contacted the office manager and owner, Gary, to make everyone aware of the situation immediately. There was no apology or intention to solve the issue. They simply said to give it time and that the credit card companies would sort it out. Again, feeling very unsettled, I decided to email them a snapshot of my bank statement so they could see what I was viewing on my end. Same response, they said to just give it more time. A week later, all those pending charges became transactions. I contacted them again and was told that the issue was on my end, that my bank had screwed up because redbox+ Dumpster’s invoicing system didn't see the extra charges that I was seeing. Again, no accountability or care to help resolve the issue. I had to sternly speak with the owner and urge him to check his actual bank account to cross-reference the charges. Sure enough, I was overcharged 3 times. He did refund the money, but not without my persistence and self-advocacy, and it took almost two weeks for anyone to look into the issue. I am not sure if this is something they consciously or unconsciously do, but based on my experience, the customer is not in their best interest. After all of this, I called for my final dumpster pick up, and they told me their dump truck was down, so pickup would be a day later than expected… and then they charged me for the additional day!
