This month we will be joined by Out of the Ark Educational Animal Shows for a presentation with some of the animals in their education collection. Get ready to be hands on and get your photo with a few favorites! Open to all ages, no registration required.

With the current wildfires in our area we may be slow to respond to calls or emails. We are closely monitoring these fires in the event we need to evacuate our animals to a safe location off site.

For those who are under an evacuation order and have exotic pets such as reptiles, birds, or any other exotic pets, please do not leave them behind. We are more than happy to assist in the evacuation and shelter them until you are able to return home.

We had a blast hanging out with this awesome Girl Scout Troop! They were fearless as they got up close and personal with our amazing animal ambassadors. We loved sharing fun facts about these incredible creatures and seeing the girls’ excitement!

Meet Coca, our curious coati! With a nose built for sniffing out tasty treats and a tail that’s always held high, these South American mammals are expert foragers.

Did you know coatis are in the same family as raccoons? They use their long snouts to dig for insects, fruit, and even small critters.

Keep an eye out—Coca is always on the hunt for her next snack and is nearly done her ambassador training!
