We hope you can join us Sunday December 3rd at 3pm at LeTourneau University Belcher Center for our 2nd concert of the season!

In addition to the pieces featured on our poster, we plan to play How the Grinch Stole Christmas - A Medley, Irving Berlin's A Symphonic Portrait, The Mask of Zorro, Hungarian March, O Waly Waly, Christmas Calypso, and Carol of the Bells. We will also feature guest vocalist Jon Starling.

Tickets are $10 for adults. Children and students (through college) are always free. Everyone must stop in the main lobby to get your admission tickets including children and students and those who purchase tickets online including season tickets. Tables will be labeled accordingly for different payment options and pre-purchased tickets.

You can also purchase tickets online for our quilt raffle (up to the day before the concert) or in the lobby the day of the concert when the doors open.

We look forward to seeing you at the Belcher Center!

Congratulations to the Pride once again.
Today at Mesquite Marching Festival we earned our first “one” rating of the season. Not only that but we earned some more “hardware” to take home to Pine Tree!!!

Mesquite Marching Contest
Where: Mesquite Memorial Stadium
2500 Memorial Blvd, Mesquite, TX 75149
Parents are welcome to attend this contest.
What to Bring: $ for food if needed more than the two meals the district is providing you.
Concessions are also available at the stadium while we watch bands.
What to Wear: Band shoes, long black socks, band shorts, band shirt. We will be wearing uniforms over these items for the performance, but it’s important that you look the same.
Meals: Pizza for lunch is provided at the stadium, and dinner will be provided as well (to be determined)

WAY TO GO PRIDE!!!!
Results are in. The Pride finished 4th overall tonight in the Golden Triangle Marching Classic.
The only bands to beat us….Azle, Trinity, and Reedy HS……are twice our size. We also were best in our classification for the day. Last year we came in 8th overall, and to move up four spots to seize fourth is proof of all the kid’s hard work these past two months. Congrats to all our students and the excellence they’ve achieved!!!!! Directors are very proud.

Grab after school. You need to be wearing your black marching pants for tonight s rehearsal. Spread the word please so no one forgets

For rehearsals this week July 24-28, band students need to be wearing shoes (not crocks, sandals, or flip flops) light clothing that will help keep you cool, sunblock/sunscreen and a hat if you have one. Please bring a water bottle of some kind as well.

Info regarding registration next week. Please check the calendar on app for registration times and days for each grade level. Please note that while we want you to come on your specific time, if you can’t because of a conflict, then coming on another time is ok as long as this is a last resort. Please try to come on your specific day/time to eliminate wait times. Complete as much of these items below as possible to lessen wait times as well.

1. Please fill out band student info questionnaire below before arriving to speed things up (all students)

3. Be prepared with parent to complete rank one sport forms that are online only. We will have computers set up in band hall to complete these forms, but without parental help there, it is difficult for a student to complete on their own. (Preferred: If you want to complete at home before you come, see link below to complete these so you don’t have to at registration.)

4. Freshman and Juniors must complete an in-person physical with a physician and be approved to participate by August 1st. That means you must turn in the physical paperwork by midweek (July 26) if you haven’t already. See link below to print off and take to a physician if you haven’t already. Walk ins are welcome at most urgent care clinics, but call to make sure.

5. Below are the costs associated with band registration by class (approximate prices)
Freshman
If you haven’t paid the $50 deposit, you will be asked to pay that plus an additional $30 for the performance top
$ 37 for marching shoes
$ 20 for backpack
$ 15 for Band Shirt
$ 10 for band shorts-most people buy two pair
$ 10 snap shirt
Sophomore, Junior, Senior
If you haven’t paid the $50 deposit, you will be asked to pay that plus an additional $30 for the performance top
If you have lost any item from the freshman list, you will need purchase that item to replace what you have lost.
We take cash, check made out to PT Band Boosters, or card.

6. Instrument checkout, locker space checkout, uniform fittings/checkout all occur as well during this registration time. Pictures are the following Monday July 31st, so everyone needs a uniform for this!!!

It's amazing to see how our high school seniors are preparing themselves for their bright futures. They have been working hard to achieve their academic and extracurricular goals, and it's inspiring to see how they have grown into such talented individuals. They have faced many challenges and overcome them with grace, resilience, and determination. From top colleges to prestigious internships, they have a world of opportunities waiting for them. I'm excited to see where their paths will take them and I have no doubt that they will continue to shine in everything they do.
