Oak Middle School Choirs supported “We Care” this week by running a Food Drive! Students collected over 160 items! We Care was blown away by how are students stepped up!! Oak Choir Cares!!!

Choir Families!! - “We Care” is an organization that helps to feed local families that are struggling. Right now they are running low on a few products (Rice, Pasta, Refried Beans, Canned Stew and Hamburger Helper).
Besides developing great performers we want to help students grow into civic minded, empathetic, action oriented adults. Next week, March 25-29, we will be running a food drive. If you’re out shopping this weekend or next week, pick up an extra one (or many 😁) of the items above and have your student bring it to school. There will be boxes with the name of each choir on the side. Have them place it in their choirs box.
Now to have a little fun with this we will have a little competition between the choirs. The Choir that brings in the most items (not poundage) will win a doughnut or pizza party (their choice).
It’s one week only!
