YOU GUYS I’M 30 😱😱

Reflecting over these past 30 years of life and particularly the past few years I’ve grown so much as a person and as a creator. I’ve figured out my passion and I’m running with it! I love being part of couples special day and creating connections with them. Every couple’s love story and personalities are so unique and I think that should be celebrated! 🥳

Big shout out to my mentor for pushing me out of my comfort zone time and time again over the past year. I’ve grown so much and I wouldn’t be where I am today without you! 🫶

Brides!! This one is for you 🤗 check out our top tips for your wedding day

1. Create a playlist! Getting ready can take hours so make sure you put together a solid playlist to jam to with your girls while you get ready for the big day

2. Write a letter for your partner to read when they are getting ready. Even when you’re not together you can still be creating beautiful moments together. Consider writing a letter for your partner to read as they are getting ready to show how excited you are for the day.

3. Have your flat lay materials ready to go! If you want beautiful flat lay photos, help your photographer out by having all the items ready to go when they arrive. Some great items for this are invitations, the rings, family heirlooms, jewelry, perfume, or your shoes, but you can include anything you’d like!

4. Have an emergency bag. In case of any mishaps or touch ups needed throughout the day, have an emergency bag packed and ready to go! Things to include could be: first aid kit, tissues, safety pins, a sewing kit, makeup, contacts, snacks, etc.

5. Stay hydrated! With all the hustle and bustle it’s easy to forget to drink water. Assign one of your bridesmaids to make sure you’re staying hydrated and bring you water throughout the day.

6. Prepare for unexpected weather. Have a plan in place in case the weather doesn’t turn out as expected, especially if you’re having an outdoor ceremony. Prep for things like rain, wind, power outages. Consider having umbrellas or jackets ready, or a backup indoor location for ceremony. Being prepared ensures the weather won’t dampen your spirits on wedding day!

7. Check with your venue to confirm if vendors need insurance. Many venues require that your vendors provide them with a certificate of insurance. If they do, make sure to tell your vendors early so they have plenty of time to get insurance before wedding day.

8. Don’t stress!! If anything doesn’t go to plan, let your wedding planner figure it out! Focus on enjoying your day and being with your partner. Your planner, family, and friends will figure out the rest

Wanna hear a story? 📖

In 8th grade a girl picked up a camera for the first time. What did she do with it? She made dumb music videos with her friends of course. And I mean really dumb! But those silly times shared with her best friends as a kid would be the starting point to shaping her future career.

What started as a hobby, turned into a passion, turned into a career. She loved any time she got to spend behind the lens. It felt like a new set of eyes, an entirely different way to view the world. The camera could see things in ways the human eye could not. It could make things more beautiful, it could make things more fun, it could tell stories. She loved that.

She started her career in music videos, thinking that was her ultimate goal, creating pieces of art for her favorite musical artists. But then she filmed her first wedding, and an entirely new passion was born. She was hooked!

While music videos gave her work joy and excitement, weddings gave her work purpose. Creating something that would be meaningful to someone else for the rest of their lives gave her work a whole new meaning. Celebrating with couples on the most important day of their lives gave her work fulfillment. She suddenly knew this is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

Each couple she encounters is so unique, has their own unique story, personality, flavor. She loves learning about and understanding each couple and getting the opportunity to tell their story through her lens.

Now she’s started her own business, something she never dreamed she could do, and pursuing her passion every day.

That girl is…. You guessed it, it’s me! 😝
