I’ve played the humble role for too long.
The quiet one.
The good guy.
The smile, the handshake,
the “let the work speak” type.

But the world don’t always listen to quiet.

I’ve doubted myself in places I can’t say out loud —
my worth,
my instincts,
my ability to make the right move
when no one’s clapping.

I’ve left stages full of cheers
and still drove home wondering
if I really belonged there.

I’ve watched half-effort win full praise,
while real work gets scrolled past.

But behind every doubt
there’s one thing that’s never moved:
my skill.

When it comes to DJing,
I don’t chase validation —
I am validation.
I don’t identify as a DJ —
I identify as the proof.

I come from an era before stems and sync buttons,
before shortcuts and algorithms.
Back when you had to earn timing,
train your ear,
and make people feel something
without a screen telling you how.

That era raised me.
And it never left.

So this isn’t a flex.
It’s a warning.

Because once I start showing
what I’ve been sitting on ⏸️
the conversation changes.
The tone changes.
The whole room shifts.

This isn’t the show.
This is the stretch before it.
The breath before the verse.
The calm before I talk crazy.

This is just—
The Warm-Up.
