Hey Lovely!💕

So if you just got engaged to your forever boo but now I bet you’re wondering how the heck are you going to pay for this wedding it right?

I’m going to share with you my top 3 tips on How to save for your wedding TODAY!

💸 CUT BACK- You know those subscriptions you don't use or the cable that you only watch 5 channels on! This is the perfect time to start to eliminate any added expenses.

💸 MAKE MEALS AT HOME- Are you more of a take out kind of girl? Try axing it from your routine or at least reduce the number of times you eat out. Plus cooking at home allows more bonding time for you and your Honey!

💸 SAVE- This should be a given however if you are not physically setting money aside for your big day, they’re won't BE a big day! So if you are paying for your own wedding, I suggest creating a joint savings account. Just so the two of you can settle on an amount that works best for the both of you and you can start saving and depositing the amount that’s needed for all wedding expenses.

Saving for your wedding is doable but only if you are willing to do so.

Happy Friday! There are so many new people here, so I thought I’ll reintroduce myself! ☺️

Some Fun facts about me:

🤍I was born and raised in San Francisco

🤍 I got my creative gift from my amazing Mom. She was the one to encourage me to get my degree in Fashion.

🤍 Growing up my dream job was to become a wedding dress designer. I used to binge watch project runway back in the day!

🤍 Before fashion, Dancing was everything to me. Still is actually!.. It’s like as soon as I hear Beyoncé come on, no one in the room exist because I’m in my own little world 😆

🤍 I love to draw and paint, it keeps me calm.

🤍 I have an obsession with interior design!

🤍 Some people might find it surprising but I’m actually an Introvert 🙈! I’m so shy unless I’m around people I know.

🤍 My husband and I have the same zodiac sign. Yep two cancers ♋️ in 1 household 😅!

🤍 My choice of drink is Red wine, the dryer the better. I can’t stand sweet wine!

🤍 For years I always wore my hair straight until I moved to SoCal.. This heat I just couldn’t do it! Been rocking my curly hair since 2012!

I had a lot of fun creating this tablescape at my house. I was inspired by the fall season and I wanted to created an elegant tablescape for an intimate gathering.

To create this tablescape several of the items came from Hobby Lobby, Ross and the Dollar store. Some of the pieces I already had at my house as well. It’s amazing how you can create something so elegant without breaking the bank! All it takes is to be creative and to challenge yourself!

I’ve been drafting up some really great ideas for a styled shoot that I will be doing at my house. I was playing around with some items I have already and will buy some things I need as well. I love the fall season, well I love the holidays it’s a special time to get together with family. Happy Monday 💕! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Whew I’m not go lie to you, I’m feeling tired today! Over the weekend we celebrated my Son’s 1st birthday and it turned out so amazing. Of course when you’re celebrating a 1 year I was reminded it’s about the baby and not you LOL! Clearly he didn’t know what was going on but I was planning his party for the past couple weeks and wanted it to be special.

He loves I had a blast playing around with this colorful theme. I definitely didn’t want to take down any of the decor, honestly I wanted to keep everything 😂. My husband was like “babe you’re not keeping all of this stuff, don’t be a hoarder”! So I kept some of it for his scrapbook I’m creating and took plenty of pics for memories ☺️.

Here are some highlights from the party. My fav pic is of him crying, he was not having it after we were done singing HBD! Has anyone experienced a grumpy baby during their 1st bday party? That was something I wasn’t prepared for😅

Let’s talk Wedding Vows! Are you considering writing your own vows? When I got married we decided to write our own vows, not sure why I agreed to do that 🤷🏾‍♀️ when I get so nervous to talk in front of a crowd of people! If you’re anything like me and get stage fright I got your back.

Here are some tips to help you with your wedding vows if you have a fear of speaking in public:

Type them up: Don’t read your vows off your phone, the photographer will thank you later! You can start with writing your thoughts down and simply type it up, don’t forget to print it out and hand them over to your Maid of Honor maybe the night before.

Practice: It’s okay to practice in the mirror, it’s nothing wrong with it. The more you practice, the more comfortable you’ll be. The night before practice with your Maid of Honor and ask for some feedback.

Please don’t wait until the day of your wedding to write them vows! You’re already going to be a nervous wreck! Trust me, I did 😅! In the bridal suite I was like, “Nobody talk to me for an hour I gotta write my vows” 🤦🏾‍♀️!

Just breathe: Take a moment to breathe, look at your honey and speak from the heart. When you’re authentic and vulnerable those nerves will go away so fast.

Oh, don’t drink too much champagne or wine before the ceremony. I was so damn nervous before the wedding and had wayy too much fun in that bridal suite y’all. I kept laughing when I was at the altar. No one suspected a thing tho b/c I’m goofy anyway 🤣!

I remember the day of my wedding I wanted to feel stress-free and to just enjoy the special day without feeling worried about anything! I planned my entire wedding but I knew I didn’t want to be the one running around trying to prepare everything. So we hired a Day of Coordinator to step in to execute our vision and to ensure of our day ran smoothly.

Remember your big dreams take time to flourish, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. I used to always feel a way when people would say that to me but i definitely get it. When you rush to do something it’s not always going to turn out the way you envisioned it. Take your time, stay in your OWN lane and continue to walk by faith not by sight

I age like a fine bottle of wine 🍷. Ya girl is 30 today! Wowwww 🤣. I’m very blessed to see another year 🙏🏽.

On Saturday I threw myself an intimate birthday party with close family and friends. It was such a special day, filled with so much love and surprises.

I really enjoyed planning my birthday party b/c I was able to show my family and friends how creative I can be as an Event Planner. Stay tune for some birthday party tips! 💕
