Our “Brand Bout” deserves its own post! I have so enjoyed creating this new line of wearables this year and couldn’t resist posting tonight’s cutie from Open House tonight. They are artful and totally customizable: we can make these as big or small as the wearer would like, we have even created full lapel pieces on these bases! They rock. It has evolved into flower crowns, head pieces, corsages, pocket squares, necklaces… however I can reimagine something into this style, I am! What do you guys think? Do you prefer a traditional boutonniere or do you like this new style?

These two!! Absolutely loved my journey with Nick and Hayley! They found me early on, back when they had no idea what they wanted. That turned into such a lovely process, coming to this beautiful color palette and the designs that flowed from that! Just proof that if you trust your florist, and don’t necessarily know what you want, the things they will create for you can be pure magic.

These two!!! 🥹 Sasha & Chef Tiff are two instrumental folx who help make the weddings as amazing as they are at The Lodge at Malibou Lake and Wrensmoor . The Lodge was the first wedding venue who really gave me a chance when I came up into the wedding industry. They put me right on their preferred list after my first Supper Club there when they saw the unique, outside-the-box ideas I had and validated my work right away—it helped me see I had a place in this industry and I’ll always be grateful! 😌
Finding two q***r folx in the wedding industry right out the gate, helped me feel comfortable just being me. I bonded with them pretty instantly and The Lodge quickly became my home away from home, the place I truly LOVE to work. Getting to create the wearables and florals for their wedding day was such a pleasure and I felt honored to be asked! Theirs was the first of many of these you’ll be seeing this year 🥰🙏

Our “straight from the garden” styled shoot for Casa de Perrin just in time for tomato season 🍅 So fun going into their Brentwood showroom with picking out all the dinnerware, glassware & flatware that spoke to me! We enhanced their already beautiful table set up with fresh cabbage roses, mini potted kale, heirloom tomatoes, gaillardia and nasturtium from ‘s garden and so much more to make this a multi-textural, fresh and full tablescape. 🍅🥬

Never underestimate something as simple as a bud vase, a votive and some taper candles in the perfect setting for your wedding tables. In the right setting, like at Silverlake Bacari, it’s really all you need. This table has a bud vase and votive at every pair of seats and taper candles dividing the length of it.

A lot of business folx ask what your WHY is: Why you do what you do. My COUPLES are my why. It’s moments like this when I know what I do is impactful, meaningful and that I’m just where I should be at this stage of my life. 🥰 I get to enter into a couples lives during one of their happiest periods of time together. Experience their love, get to know them, and then at the end of our journey together, I get to create beauty on their wedding day! Surprising and delighting them with all the flower magic I had been planning for months! To say I love what I do is an understatement—I am OBSESSED with being a wedding florist! If you’ve ever caught me watching my couple get married, I’m always in the back crying 🥹 wiping away happy tears 💕

The Carondelet House is such a beautiful venue. The chandeliers and exposed brick do it for me. And I love the window-lined wall laying in all the natural light. We don’t do babies breath weddings a lot because I LOVE color but if we do it must be two things: airy & whimsical and never tightly stuffed!
