Rewinding to NYBFW… a chic little soirée with x .
When I left the luxury fashion world five years ago, it was because I couldn’t find anyone in the wedding space doing something that felt truly different. I didn’t want traditional. I wanted something that felt like an elevated dinner party— thoughtful, editorial, and personal. That desire to reimagine what a wedding could feel like is what led me to leave my Events Manager role at Prada corporate and start GHE.
Fast forward to this NYBFW moment — such a full-circle one. Mirrored surfaces played off the concrete floors. The florals were sculptural and full of movement. I reimagined a ceremony altar as a fashion step-and-repeat. The food was inspired by my love for fine dining — tiny bites styled like art installations. And when I found the serpentine couch (reminiscent of the Prada store couches), I knew it had to be part of it.
Every single detail had meaning. From the branded butter and ice to the custom pouches, matches, decals, and minimal paper goods inspired by past runway invites… it was a nod to how we’ve blended our background in luxury fashion into the wedding world.
I’ve noticed “fashion-forward weddings” are trending lately, and while I love seeing more people tap into that world, I trust that our clients can feel what’s truly intentional. We’ve been doing this from the very beginning (I mean, I’ve been obsessed with fashion since birth and even went to school for it ;)), with years of real experience guiding the way. Everything you see here was built with care, not just for aesthetics — but with meaning behind every detail.
So here we are. Five years later and feeling so incredible grateful for our niche clientele who truly get it and trust us with their stories. Getting a little emotional as we head to Oahu for V&P’s wedding weekend. It’s going to be a special one. And to everyone reading this and always pressing the love button, I appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for the unending support and love. I will remain in my feels for the remainder of this long flight. xx
