Fresh from her "Best Comedy" Award-winning run at this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival, Angel City Improv at Company of Angels (CoA) is tickled pink to bring back our resident clowning instructor, Bonnie He and her amazing physical comedy workshop, “Welcome to Clown Town” on Tuesdays, August 16 & 23. The fee is only $10 per class and includes an opportunity for you to perform on the Company of Angels mainstage at the end of August! All levels are welcome, but space is limited! Interested? INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Bonnie He is an actor, improvisor and clown. She was in the short film The New Empress with Maggie Gyllenhaal and is on a Second City Hollywood house improv team. Her award-winning live show A Terrible Show for Terrible People won the Craziest Solo Show award at the inaugural Crazy Woke Asians Solo Performance Festival and has toured nationally in festivals such as Second City Hollywood’s Diversity in Comedy Festival and The Brick’s NY Clown Theatre Festival. Recently, A Terrible Show for Terrible People played to sold out performances at this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival and garnered the festival’s “Best Comedy” award. Bonnie He is also the resident clowning instructor at Company of Angels, the oldest non-profit professional equity waiver theater in Los Angeles.
