Honoring Rafael Torres, Jr.

At this time, the Torres Family would like to thank the community for the incredible outpouring of love and support in their time of mourning. Funeral service information has now been confirmed, and the community is welcome to attend and pay their final respects to our beloved Rafael.

The wake in honor of Rafael is scheduled for this Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, with a rosary prayer service beginning at 7:00pm at the Poverello Retreat House, 1519 Woodworth Street, San Fernando, California 91340.

Rafael’s funeral mass will take place on Friday, December 16, 2016, at 9:00am at San Fernando Mission Rey Chapel, 11160 Stanwood Avenue, Mission Hills, California 91345. Attendees are asked to please use the Old Cemetery entrance for access to the chapel.

Please take special note that the Torres Family requests that no photography or video recording take place during any of the memorial services out of respect to the loving memory of Rafael.

It is with profound sadness that the Torres Family announce the passing of Rafael Torres, Jr. Rafael founded Casa Torres, which has been a part of the local community for nearly three decades. His self-proclaimed mission was to serve the community and the Torres Family will continue to dedicate themselves to his cause.

The Torres Family would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for their support and patronage over the years. At this time, the Torres Family requests that the community respect their privacy while they mourn their heavy loss.
