☀️As 2024 wraps, Plaza de la Raza is looking back at this past year’s programs and impact:

We hosted 450 classes and workshops led by local teaching artists and registered 2,350 participating students at our School of Performing & Visual Arts.

We hosted 290 events, exhibits and plays throughout the year, anchored by four free family festivals celebrating Mexica New Year + Día del Niño + Día de los Mu***os + our annual Toy Drive & Holiday Celebration.

We supported the local economy by providing over 300 vendor opportunities at our year-round events.

We supported 480 local families through free services and additional resources including food and toy drives, tutoring and tax prep, free and discounted classes and field trips.

Plaza de la Raza also took on countless creative collaborations and partnerships opening our doors to artists and organizations including About Productions, Antonio Pelayo Productions, Barrio Action Youth & Family Center, Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, Boys & Girls Clubs of WSGV, Celebration Nation, the Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, CicLAvia, Cool Hands Series, Danza Divina de Los Angeles, Danza Teocalt, El Centro de Ayuda, Embrase Foundation, EmpowerHer, 4C LAB, Folklor Pasión Mexicana, Indigital Productions, Keck USC, LA Recreation & Parks, LA VOZ, LACHSA, LatinaFest, Latina Golfers Association, Latino Arts Network, the Latino Community Foundation, the Los Angeles Zoo, Mi Gente Moms Demand Action, Self Help Graphics & Art, Tarima & Tambor, USC University Relations, The Wall Las Memorias, Women Who Submit and many more.

☀️Our center will be celebrating 55 years in 2025 and we look to our community of supporters for being a valued part of this journey with us. Together, we will continue to nurture creativity, foster talent, and inspire the next generation of artists!
