Each element has a different vibe and tempo. So be sure that the music fits the theme of the moment.
2. Music for Every Generation
Consider all age groups. The last thing you want to do is have a certain age group not having fun. You DJ will be able to mix in and out of the different genres of music that will keep the flow going just right.
3. Keep control of your playlist.
Avoid guest requests. Why is this? The taste in music of your guests may not work for the majority of your guests, and may result in an empty dance floor.
4. Dance floor hits.
Choose danceable songs. There may be some songs that may not fill a dance floor. Keep the floor going with rhythmic songs and classic hits that never fail.
5. Organize your music.
Within Spotify or Excell Spreadsheet: This will help keep your music selection organized as well as provide great suggestions to curating a playlist that everyone will enjoy.
