The American Black Film Festival Honors 2025 took place last night, celebrating excellence in Black cinema.

Notable figures such as Aaron Pierre, known for “Mufasa,” Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor from “Nickel Boys,” Keke Palmer of “One of Those Days,” and Giancarlo Esposito from “Captain America,” along with Ava DuVernay, graced the blue carpet. 💙 📸

Throwback to the City of Hope’s 2018 Spirit of Life Gala.

The Barker Hanger in Santa Monica was transformed for this Gala on October 11, 2018. Pharrell Williams hosted the event which benefited the City of Hope’s independent research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening diseases.

The Spirit of Life Award is the City of Hope’s highest honor and this year’s Award went to Jon Platt. Jon is Chairman & CEO of Warner/Chappell Music, the longest-standing major music publishing company in the world.

We created a dramatic 8’ x 32’ media wall for this event. The custom, seamless fabric print was stretched on a rigid wooden frame with jack supports. It was the perfect backdrop for the glitzy attire worn by the celebrities.

The 7th Annual Australians in Film Awards (AiF) Gala was held at the historic Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
