This might be my favorite valentines diy to date! 🎀
Dollar store plastic table covers, tied into a bow (nothing fancy- just like I tie my shoes lol) and hung with Velcro command strips. Took me less than 10min!
Some tried and true tips for your wedding day, from a pro 😉
1. Do NOT go last for hair and makeup! It might seem like a good idea to go last in the makeup chair so that your hair and makeup is as fresh as possible for the ceremony, but if the day is running behind for any reason it will be you that ends up being rushed. Your hair and makeup artist will make sure your makeup and hair are able to last all day, so don’t worry about it being done too early.
2. Have a box of your details ready for your photographer to photograph as soon as they arrive. You don’t want to be rushing around looking for stuff for them when you only have them for a specific amount of time. These items can include your shoes, jewelry, perfume, wedding stationery, rings, veil, vow books, anything sentimental!
3. Take all flowers out of water before the ceremony (or have a spare towel to pat them dry) and make sure they’re dry before you carry them down the aisle! That way you can avoid drip marks down silky fabrics.
4. If your dress or outfit doesn’t come with one, get a nice hanger. It doesn’t have to be too fancy - just as long as it isn’t a plastic one or a paper dry cleaner one. If you want your bridesmaids dresses photographed too, be sure to get a few for those, and of course, don’t forget ones for suits too!
5. Don’t leave steaming dresses until the wedding morning and do them all the night before. Not only is it stressful trying to do it last minute but the steam will cause your curls to drop and affect makeup too.
6. Open any sentimental gifts and notes before the makeup artist leaves in case you cry and need a touch up! Of course you can always do this before your makeup is applied but if you want it captured on camera there’s a good chance it will already be done, so make sure you do this before the MUA leaves!
Save this for later or tag someone you know getting married in 2025!

These disco ball coupes are perfect for NYE, bday, ANY party! 🎉 🪩
I got the coupes and disco balls off Amazon but any snap on plastic coupe would work.
Simply use a kabob stick to poke holes in the styrofoam disco balls and then slide them onto the coupe stems and hit glue into place- easy as that!
Cheers friends 🥂
2025 is quickly approaching and whether you had a rockstar year or a year you’d rather forget, there is no time like the present to start setting goals for yourself: personally, professionally, and spiritually.
I’m not a fan of resolutions, I prefer to choose a word for the year and let my decisions and actions embody that word. It’s much more achievable and I believe in the power of manifesting so my word is the catalyst for much of my vision for the new year.
Just because I don’t do resolutions, doesn’t mean I don’t set goals. In fact, being able to account for your actions is the key to goal setting. Is it trackable? is there accountability? Is it achievable? What is the end objective?
I usually list these out- what is the goal? And what are the action items. This year I decided to switch it up a bit and bring you along for the ride. A dear friend told me about doing a Bingo card for your goals and how you try and get 4 in a row until your card is full and I absolutely LOVED it.
So I made a FREE template so we could all do Bingo cards this year 🎉 link in my bio and stories today to download! If you make your bingo card, snap a pic and share I’d love to see and get inspired by everyone’s goals ❤️
We rang in the New Year on the shores of Zanzibar and it’s hard to believe how much has happened since then.
A weekend in Dublin, finding out we’re pregnant, weddings from Vegas to Virginia (and many in between) created The and now the baby girl we dreamed of in Africa is here!
As the year comes to a close, I just wanted to thank all the brides, vendors, and colleagues who have trusted me with their wedding days, their business, their time this past year. I’ve have to adjust my schedule and rethink some of my operations and I’m so looking forward to 2025!
My word for this past year was BUILD… and besides building a whole human life, there is a lot going on behind the scenes here at TT that I cannot wait for 🪩
Thank you for being here in this space. We have such a special community here and I just hope you know how much I treasure it 🙏🏼

Speaking at The Retreat was a moment I wont forget of 2024. I knew I wanted to talk about Authenticity and share aspects of my life that led to this very moment. But to be truly authentic, means to also be vulnerable.
I was 7 months pregnant and I knew my emotions would be all over the place, but I believe that sharing your story, meeting others where they are at, and being vulnerable are they keys to human connection.
It’s empowering to share your story and connect with others and I believe it’s something we crave deep inside of us. That’s why I believe in The Retreat so much. It’s a space designed to foster that deep connection. To inspire and grow.
If you missed out of the first one, don’t worry, we have another experience coming in the Spring of 2025 and I cannot wait to connect with you there ✨
Dear Charlie girl,
I want to create a world for you where women collaborate more than they compete. Where there are spaces woman can come together and be inspired by one another instead of tearing each other down.
I want you to be able to learn from other woman and grow up with a mentality that you are not less than simply because you are a woman. Where being a leader is not synonymous with being difficult, scary, or mean.
Baby girl, I want you to know you don’t have to suffer to know success. That’s it’s okay to ask for help. To be confident in your inner voice and be brave enough to chase a dream even if it’s scary. I want you to love connecting with other woman instead of being threatened by them.
I created this space called The Retreat for woman to feel safe… to feel strong. And to feel well. I created this space for you. You deserve it. Women everywhere deserve it 🤍
Thank you to everyone who came out to experience our first event Retreat Experience. You made something I dreamt in my head real life magic. Thank you so the speakers for being in such alignment with my heart. And for every woman in my life who has inspired me and encouraged me.and a huge shoutout to @emikowellness for seeing things in me I think I had forgotten along the way. We make a great team and I cannot wait for what’s next ✨
I never thought I would plan a drive in movie style wedding, however, I never thought I would be living during a global pandemic, yet here we are!
I always say that being stretched creatively is my favorite thing, but damn... 2020-2021 has stretched me in ways I didn’t even think were possible.
This day was truly so special and I am honored to have worked alongside so many magicians in order to make it possible

The world is changing daily. In some cases hourly.
The rules for special events are clear in some respect, and confusing in others.
If it’s all feeling too overwhelming, you may be thinking of planning an elopement. We have got you covered! We’re designing concepts and ideas. We’re doing research on locations and permits and ready to pivot right along with you.
And guess what?
We’re pretty exited for the future of elopements. There is so much beauty in simplicity. And so much meaning in focusing on the most important elements of a wedding day 💛

I had these new aprons made for me and my team to kick off our 2020 Season... which was about to be my biggest season yet.⠀
⠀
I look back in these and I can just see my excitement and hope for a successful year for my business. Today I’m feeling like the term “success” is going to have to look differently if I’m going to hold fast to my hope and positivity ⠀
⠀
I don’t have any words or wisdom or any ideas on how I’m going to accomplish this exactly - total transparency over here! But all I know is that I am resilient and resourceful and I will FIGURE it out. No matter what happens during this uncertain time. ⠀
⠀
Also @marlowebyrd did the hand lettering- she’s a gem and you should def hit her up if you have any projects coming up 💛
