Gregory is a well known entertainment marketing executive with nearly 30 years in the industry. As a radio marketing executive, broadcaster, and entrepreneur, Greg has held management positions at various national radio entities and is particularly known for his work at Stevie Wonder’s KJLH-FM in Los Angeles. He has been an integral and central part of the teams that have produced many major events in Southern California including the Gospel Showcase at Knott’s Berry Farm and Taste of Soul – one of the nation’s largest street festivals, an event that attracts upwards of 350,000 people. King Nat Africa is a descendant of Chief Akan and a Goodwill Ambassador for African culture, traditions, customs and a film-TV producer who resides in USA. As a member of the Hollywood creative community, he lives by five principles: innovation, creativity, originality, authenticity and traditionalism. King Nat Africa holds the distinction of creating the first tri-lingual radio broadcast in the state of California. As the Host and Producer of “TamTam Parleur”: on KXMX 1190 in Glendale, California, the edu-entertainment program targeting students from schools and universities across the state in English, Spanish and French. The success of the radio show led to Universal Voice, a 30-minute television program exploring the culture of countries around the world broadcast on Independent station KSCI-LA 8TV. King Nat Africa’s breakthrough came over a decade ago in 2001 when he was tapped by Disney Animation Television as an international consultant on the “Legends of Tarzan” animated series. Utilizing his knowledge of African cultures, King Nat helped to authentically depict Africa in the television adaptation of a story, which Harry Belafonte famously called “Hollywood’s most racist Super Villain” upon acceptance of his Honorary Oscar in 2014. Being involved in the “Legends of Tarzan” series solidified King Nat’s desire to create content in Hollywood, which positively depicts Africa and it’s peoples. His company, Abusuan Entertainment Group aims to develop a range of properties surrounding the past and the current lives of the royal families of Africa including continent and across the globe. Currently titled “African Royalties”, in development is a Reality TV series, various documentaries, films and cultural events.
