Mystic Side Opera Company and The Los Angeles Italian Festival are honoring the contributions of Italian Americans who served to defend America with this 2” challenge coin, the limited to 1,000 pieces.

Proceeds support free admission to the festival for 1,000 active duty military member and families along with Mystic Side’s “OPERAtors” program which creates opportunities for military/veterans/families to bring their skills to the performing arts, whether on-stage or behind-the-scenes. We’ll also be recognizing actor Joe Mantegna with the “Veteran’s Champion Award” along with other celebrity’s whose work contributes to the rich history and preservation of Italian And Italian-American culture.

Welcome back Chef Antonio Fusca and SUGO - Italian Flavour to Los Angeles Italian Festival 2024! 🇮🇹🍝🚚

We’re thrilled to share the inspiring story of Chef Antonio, a true embodiment of the American Dream with an Italian flavor!

At just 30, Antonio turned his childhood dream of becoming a star chef into reality. After honing his skills in renowned Italian restaurants, he took a leap of faith and landed in Los Angeles in February 2017. By May, Sugo Italiano Food Truck was born!

Antonio’s mission? To introduce LA to a different kind of Italian cuisine - one based on the cherished recipes of his nonna and mamma. Simple, authentic, and bursting with flavor!

The journey wasn’t easy. Antonio admits to changing his menu nearly 10 times in the first two years, adapting to LA’s street food scene while staying true to his roots. But his dedication and hard work paid off.

Today, Sugo Italiano is a beloved part of LA’s culinary landscape. Antonio proudly claims the title of creating the first true 100% Italian food truck in the city!
