ATI hosted a dinner auction for a custom pair. Charlie Vogelheim kicked off the auction with a playful bid of $1,000; the auction took an unexpected turn as bids soared. The enthusiasm led Rudy to generously offer four custom pairs, raising $8,000 for The Hourglass Foundation.

Bill Cariss began his career at Holman Enterprises at ARI in 1984, and held many executive positions. He joined the retail operations in 1996 as Executive Assistant to the President of Holman Enterprises and went on to become Vice President of Dealership Operations in 2001 and President of Retail Operations in 2015. During that time, he was responsible for operational, financial, and corporate development activities, and led the acquisition of Kuni Automotive in 2016. After 14 years with Reynolds & Reynolds, Jim joined Omnicom/Zimmerman where he evangelized a virtual ad agency technology for dealers and was responsible for partnerships with Autotrader (New Vehicle Specials) and Reynolds (Naked Lime Marketing.) Thereafter, Jim led the creation of Trade-in Valet (Carphoria) and the development of all front-end products at AutoLoop. Most notably, Jim is founder of Purple.Insurance, the DMS-based software that merged with Salty and sold to CDK in September of 2021.

Jay was formerly the CIO of Tesla Inc. (then named Tesla Motors) for over 4 years, reporting to Elon Musk, Chairman, Product Architect, and CEO of Tesla. During his time with Tesla, Jay and his team built several systems, including Tesla’s e-Commerce, ERP, Service, and Logistics systems. Jay is best known for building an integrated end-to-end home grown e-Commerce/ERP system for Tesla, the first minimum viable version of which he and his team built in four months.
