Invitation Maven "Maven" means "expert" in Yiddish. I've been designing invitations for more than 20 years. I create Hi! I’ve been designing invitations for more than 20 years.

My name is Marlene Widawer, but I’m also known as the “Invitation Maven.” Maven means “expert” in Yiddish. I just love designing custom invitations because they are what get the party started. I also love working with people, and my passion is to make all my clients’ dreams come true. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into a passion that I wanted to share with others. I have expanded my d

esign capabilities and work with a variety of design platforms and products, and I love to create that one-of-a-kind invitation that reflects my client’s unique style and personality. Whether I’m designing a bar or bat mitzvah invitation, a wedding or bridal shower invitation, a baby announcement, or a birthday party invitation, my goal is to merge my clients’ personal style with the party theme to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all. At this unicorn-themed birthday party, dreams aren’t just made of rainbows and sparkle... they’re made of sugar, too!

When my granddaughter asked for a Unicorn Party to celebrate her 5th birthday, I designed the invitation with rainbows and unicorns. I knew the cookies had to match that same enchanted vibe. These custom-made treats feature the exact designs from the invites—making sure every sweet detail added a dash of whimsy to this magical celebration.

And the cookies are kosher to boot!

Just as white ink dances effortlessly on green cardstock, our custom dinner menu perfectly complemented the luxurious green velvet linens and beautiful floral chargers. Pairing the exquisite flavors of Tierra Sur’s cuisine with the fine wines of Herzog Winery was a sensory symphony like no other. And to top it all off, knowing it was a fundraiser for Bonei Olam added an extra layer of warmth to our hearts. Here’s to a night where every detail was as special as the cause it supported.⁣

My Story

Hi! My name is Marlene Widawer, but I’m also known as the “Invitation Maven.” Maven means “expert” in Yiddish. I just love designing custom invitations because they are what get the party started. I also love working with people, and my passion is to make all my clients’ dreams come true. I’ve been designing and manufacturing custom invitations for more than 20 years. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into a passion that I wanted to share with others. I have expanded my design capabilities and work with a variety of design platforms and products, and I love to create that one-of-a-kind invitation that reflects my client’s unique style and personality. Whether I’m designing a bar or bat mitzvah invitation, a wedding or bridal shower invitation, a baby announcement, or a birthday party invitation, my goal is to merge my clients’ personal style with the party theme to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all. All my work is custom, and I use the highest quality materials and latest design trends to not only create an invitation to an event, but to also create a work of art.
