Transcendental Meditation was taught to me by Penny Hintz from the . It changed my life is so many profound ways. As an artist I have spent my life trying to finds ways to get out of ego and connect with unitive consciousness. I studied it academically and lived my creative life in pursuit of it. The methods I learned from the David Lynch foundation were the simplest and most repeatable and effective. As someone with Hypomania my brain was always in overdrive. I never understood that I had such agency in turning off the stream through stillness and connecting with something greater. I never knew that in this stillness there was everything. wrote about all of this so beautifully in Catching The Big Fish. Tomorrow at noon pst his family asks us to join in a 10 minute group meditation around the world. Spread the word.

Great crew last night for the first McCartney show at the O2 last night in London. One more show til the end of what has been an absolutely magical and healing tour from Brazil to London. It’s been so wonderful to see so many dear friends along with the way and share my tour world with them. The audiences across these continents have reminded me that we all share the common language of McCartney and through that we can get through these tough times. When we sing together we are reminded of all that unites us and we can forget about all the divides us.

My first international show with was in Lima, Peru 🇵🇪 in 2011. I will always have a fondness for this amazing town, and the incredible fans who have been singing Paul songs together outside of our hotel since we landed. Thanks Andy for the photos.

Tomorrow our Devo doc makes its LA premiere and plays at the AFI fest in LA. I wish I was there for it, it is a very very special doc about a very very special group of visionaries . Directed by the brilliant . Hopefully this film shows the world of Devo beyond Whip It and shows the scope of their work and their influence on contemporary art and music. Devo for the rock n roll hall of fame! I am so proud to have been a part of this production.
