Today, I found myself lost in the creative flow that helped me crush my goals and it's all because I took the time to make my workspace feel like a luxurious space. I hung my beautiful beaded chandelier over my desk and I'm taking a lot of enjoyment by creating a beautiful energy around where I spend time grinding for my business.

It's these moments, where art meets the rubber and the road- which make me truly grateful for what I do.

When Life Aligns: A Serendipitous California Trip

Life has a magical way of aligning the stars just right, and I've got a story that'll warm your heart. 🌟 It all began with a trip to California, planned with the sole intention of meeting my soon-to-arrive godchild. My best friend Alex was about to welcome her first baby, and missing it was simply not an option.

My original plan was to couch-hop at friends' places, but on a whim, I called up my brother who had just settled into his new home in Laguna Beach. Little did I know, this last-minute decision was a piece of a larger puzzle falling into place. 🏖️

As it turned out, I arrived just in time for his girlfriend's birthday—a celebration I hadn't even known was happening. She had been in an accident with an e-bike and was recovering, but you should have seen the preparations she had made! Balloons, games, and even a vision board station. 🎈🕶️✨

With a bit of design magic, (And hours of balloon prep work) I transformed her birthday supplies into an extravagant balloon arch photo booth, turning the entire house into a festive wonderland. The look on everyone's faces was priceless—they were absolutely blown away! And in that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for being exactly where I was needed, helping create cherished memories for my brother and his girlfriend, who's become like family to me. ❤️

It's moments like these that remind us of the beauty of connection and the unexpected miracles that life can bring.

I believe everyone deserves that magical moment: you're dressed to the nines, and the golden hour of the setting sun is streaming through the windows as you celebrate with your dear friends and family. The chandelier above you begins to sparkle with the last heat of the day. It is like being transported to an intergalactic field where nothing but the love you have for your one and only exists. Ever noticed how the right lighting can turn a plain room into a canvas of possibilities? That's what I've been playing with on my journey to financial freedom, and the results? Simply transformative. It's like I can paint with light, and each shade and angle tells a different story.

This event was a perfect example: it was a three day Christian conference at a hotel where they wanted me to change the look for each time they came into the room. For the morning session, I created a sunrise look that transformed the ambiance and made the attendees glow with excitement during the worship songs. Moments like these are why I started lighting design to begin with!
