Our story

Mixed eMotion Theatrix (MeMT) combines music, dance, theater, and multi-media to create hybrid performance experiences in live theater and online content. The company is dedicated to telling stories of the human condition through the use of folk tales, myths, classic literature, new histories and biographies. These stories are presented through contemporary dance, ethnic movement, opera, theater, film or a mix of many performance forms. All productions share a strong use of music and storytelling to inform and enlighten the contemporary audience. MeMT strives for the audience to share a collective sense of community through the experience. It is the goal of the company to create performances both live and digital that generate wonderment and the rush of human motion and emotion.
