is back in LA this weekend!! The return of Planet B has been a long time coming and we’re hyped to host him Saturday on the breezy outdoor patio 10-late. We’ll take over the decks from our buds around 10 and see where the night takes us. Free entry but remember this does reach capacity early on

*THIS SATURDAY* we start a new residency in the arts district of downtown LA

A re-birth of sorts since our monthly that got squashed at Gold Diggers by the pandemy, The Let’s Go Disco & Cocktail Club is a new spot focused on italo disco & adjacent sounds with Macintosh pres & speaker set up.

We wanted to do a night here where we could explore great sounding records on a sweet system. There’s room to dance & a variety of well crafted bevies with residents & the transcendental musical journey 🧘🏻‍♂️. Also the spot is a beaut 🤌🏼🇮🇹🥂💋

New post to YouTube channel! A1 From the 1996 12" "No Mercy" on Afro Vibes Records From what we can tell, DJ Luna was the early alias for Munich producer Klaus Scheuermann. Discogs lists the release as "downtempo" which is maybe true from a bpm perspective but it's certainly a meeting of genres that's well beyond. Cosmic, early low slung Goa trance, and tribal sounds come to mind with the Headhunters break underneath as a backbone groove. While the only release online with "Sagolik," Luna released a few cosmic/tribal 12s (including a drum n bass influenced record we need to hear!) before putting out their only LP, Eternal Beats. Scheuermann went on to form Tubbe in 2010 and released several queer electro punk records that are definitely worth checking out
