OFFICIAL CLOSING STATEMENT
Shin Mi Catering began as a restaurant back in 1983 by founder J. Lee that evolved into a catering-only business in a plaza on the corner of 7th and Irolo in 1991. For the last 33 years, we poured our heart and soul into all of the food made and the guest experiences we helped create for weddings, parties, and many any other events. We have been honored to be a part of many celebrations in the Korean-American community and to be well-recognized as Koreatown’s #1 legacy Korean catering business.
It is with a bittersweet heart that we announce our official closing on June 30th, 2024, as Caroline, the daughter of the founder, will be retiring to finally be able to enjoy the world.
We will miss serving the Los Angeles community who have been enjoying all of the legendary food we produced out of our kitchen for the past 33 years. Thank you for all of your love & support and we wish you all the best!
