2024 has been a year I tried everything. Competed in a chef competition show. Worked for other celebrity & private chefs. I joined companies that were supposed to promote me & book events for me. I’m still waiting on this. I forged new friendships some of which were good, a lot that were lackluster & a waste of energy. I stayed quiet on most issues & topics maintaining my peace. I fought depression & started taking meds. Financially this has been the worst year since I started my business 20 years ago and that really took a toll on me. A-lot of our annual events were cancelled this year. Honestly it’s been challenging to “pivot” & or find new clientele over the last few years.
Thank you to the clients that hired me this year. Although they were very few & far between these clients paid a proper price based on the current economy. I’m so grateful for you🫶🏾
I’m so blessed to have a great friend & family circle that shows up for me. You all laugh & cry with me. You encourage me & inspire me. Without you all I don’t think I would have made it through this year🫶🏾
I’m not sure what 2025 has in store for me but I hope for more laughter, good food, creativity, money, events, romance & growth in every area of my life🥂
