Happy Hollydays! 🎄🎁😘
As a kiddo in the early 90s, each Christmas, I would get something that would fill my little footy pajama clad body with pure joy on Christmas morning. It was...THE Holiday Barbie. Each year, beneath the tree, there she was, waiting just for me! She was beautiful. Adorned with flowing hair, a cascading, layered ball gown, and decked out with a hair do-dad that brought the whole holiday ensemble together perfectly. Oh, and we can't forget the right angle shaped arms and shiny accessories she had! Here is my joyful (and updated) homage to my 1993 Holiday Barbie and the lifelong Christmas memories she created in my heart. ❤

Holiday traditions with family and friends are so important.💙
Whether it's meals, movies, or music, making holiday memories together is so special. They can bring us closer, even when we can't be together this year. I was honored to have this latke recipe shared with me this year from my dear friend (more like family), Ellen. It's her mother, Arlene's lifetime recipe. Arlene became an angel this year at 93 years young. To be able to continue making her latkes in her honor means the world to me. She wasn't my grandmother by blood, but she was a grandmother by love (to everyone she knew). I'm excited to make them again tonight. They are pure love on a plate! And Arlene added a sprinkle of sugar to the top of hers as her mother did before her. Lots of love and lots of calories!! ❤ Do you have any family recipes you cherish?

In that, I mean, every single detail on a tablescape (linens, florals, place settings, glassware, paper goods, candles, favors, etc.) takes hours of time, patience, and thoughtfulness to plan, design, place, and execute properly. Then multiply that by however many tables you have. In this case, a guest count of 200 and 20 tables + the sweetheart table.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
