💞Ritchies’ musical roots began with a passion for the trance movement in the mid 90’s and that distinctive Balearic sound. His love of soulful house and disco from the likes of Soulfuric Records and Defected tuned his ears to the structure of powerful melodies, wicked vocals and hitting the club scene to appreciate it all live.

This was his inspiration to dive in to DJing and producing electronic music, which was soon followed by opportunities to perform in niche venues across London.

Since then Ritchie has performed at venues across the UK & Ibiza, with particular focus on the Capital scene including, Horse & Groom, Egg, Ministry Of Sound, McQueen, Orange Yard, E1, the incredible Ibiza Sunset Boat Parties, Eden and Pacha. Supporting brand promotions such as the famous Ibiza brand Pukka Up, London Sound Academy, ARRVL, The Gallery. EXiT, Selador.

His style fuses a range of influences from Nu disco, vocal, progressive & deep house right through to tech house and techno, depending on the time, space & environment.

His passion and love of progressive House, electronica & Deep techno, saw him co-found events and record label brand ARRVL three years ago - focussed on showcasing the music which takes followers & fellow genre lovers on memorable, emotive, musical narratives.

In the last 5 years, he has focused his attention to the production side, with a number of EP and single releases on labels such as Mango Alley, Sound Avenue, Manual Music, ICONYC, Coldharbour, NYLO, Krafted Underground, ARRVL Records. And there’s much more to come in 2025.

✨Last but certainly not least 🙂‍↔️

🔮I normally hate posting these - especially after everyone’s already done theirs BUT 2024 was my second full year under this Akiva project, and it was a very very busy one for me.

💞I want to thank everyone who has supported my music during the past year - from the listeners to the labels, the remixing artists, artists who allowed me to remix their music, and everyone involved in-between.

💫I’m going to pivot to a different approach in 2025 but that’s for a later time.

💞Thank you to everyone who has reached out to Samantha and I regarding the current fires.

We are thankfully safe and south of the current fires - besides the horrific air quality yesterday and the winds. The fire danger zone in slide 2 is over 120 miles wide however so it’s quite scary for our friends who live north of us closer to the current hellscape.

🏡📩Our home is open to anyone who may need a place to stay, as are our messages if anyone needs any help whatsoever🫡

Wishing everyone a happy Boxing Day, Saint Steven’s Day, merry Xmass and of course, a חג חנוכה שמח happy Chanukah! 🕎🎄💞

Hope everyone’s been having a truly incredible holiday season so far!

It’s been NON stop rollercoaster of cooking in the kitchen from Italian pastas, to garlic soups, latkes, sufganiyot donuts, and so much more!
