Timeless, classic, and elegantā€”those were the words I shared with when I entrusted her with my dream wedding gown. It had always been my wish to wear a creation by a Filipino designer on my special day, and Veejay turned that dream into a reality. I envisioned a long-sleeve, full French lace white gown, and she brought it to life in the most breathtaking way.

My inspiration for the mantilla veil was, of course, our Mother Mary, while the classic pulled-up hair and off-shoulder neckline were a heartfelt nod to my momā€™s wedding dress.

Forever grateful for this custom masterpiece that made me feel connected to both my faith and my family on such a special day.

I canā€™t remember how many times I applied to be part of a fashion design TV show here in the US. It wasnā€™t an easy journey. I received a lot of NO, rejected many times, and got ā€œtry again next seasonā€ replies. But I didnā€™t give up. I knew that one day, someone will say YES.
