Throwing a little Port Hueneme LOVE out there for Engagement Season, Cuffing Season or Booking Season, whatever you call it, it is here! Its a little harder to have a preferred vendor who doesn't do social media.....But their venue is really quite breathtaking. Has history and that makes it charming for you event.

Today the most searched phrases in the wedding industry are:
1. Outdoor Weddings 260%
2. Wedding Planning/Planner 38%
and then small and cheap weddings. 8%
This tells me that people are searching for venues that fit their budget. Which is tighter than in other years where our economy was stronger. Many of us are working 2 and 3 jobs to surve. Trying to plan the wedding of your dreams on a dime budget is very possible. You need the right people to help you achieve your dream. I can help you, I am one of those people. About 80% of my weddings are outdoor, over 150 people. Parks or Open Estates such as are very popular venues because of location and cost. The owners of are wonderful to work with, very hands on and friendly. The estate can easily accommodate party's of 200+, including parking which is important. All of these type of require a Coordinator. Good thing there are so many of us to choose from. I never have to worry about getting work, only about living up to their expectations.
Other positives about outdoor weddings:
Any Theme or Color Scheme is gonna work
Accomodate Large Groups
Music is generally allowed to play late
Your choice of Catering and Menus
It is more private than a hotel or Restaurant...you have the place to yourself often. Not all outdoor venues are single party Venues...some have multiple events going on at one time. is not one of those venues. The Estate is yours and yours alone for your Event day/night

How do you feel about this Cake Table Design? I love to use highboys that have staggered heights...and of course sequins. These tables look so elegant together and a very minimalistic vibe. The different heights really give the display a centerpiece feel without floral of votive of any kind. Also the Platinum Linen looks almost monotone where it gathers at the floor. This design blends in so well with the spectacular Marble Fireplace that is white, platinum and gold without taking away or over powering the design. I LOVE it! Sometimes, less is more and this is one of those time...do you agree? Let me know! ; )

Talk about a love story....
Are you romantic? Are you a story teller? This unusual and very personal Isle Runner is about as out of the box and authentic as I've seen. The brick background and industrial vibe....i love the whole design. Including the pom pom balls on both sides of the runner. I think it says it all!

I just love this shot....looks so dreamy! Still so happy their event turned out so stunning. A lot of on the spot decorating went in to make it look like this! Well we had no centerpieces...one thing....I love a centerpiece...doesn't have to be expensive it has to fit the vibe!

Love this Wedding Floor Plan and Styling.
I am always looking for ways to incorporate fabric. Fabric like the Pipe and Drape Panels, soften and enclose an environment. They help romanticize the atmosphere and create a dreamy mood.

With this Interiorscape Design, they have rectangle and round tables, Chiavari chairs at the round tables and Ghost chairs at the rectangular and head. The couple has upholstered chairs. It is a great way to create a little diversity in your design. Big differences are the floral, votive, chairs and linen. Here they choose to have the head table, which is pictured prominently, has 3 types of linen, while the perimeter tables including busing table showcase one. All of the guest tables have Blush Taffeta, floor-length linen. While the head table has a base linen called "Leaf Petal Taffeta" over the top of that linen they have Blush Taffeta and over that they have the Rose Gold and White Sequin Table Runner. The Taffeta is also for the guest. It keeps them from habitually grasping the table linens leaves. Pretty, needs to also be functional. 😉 So the ends of the head table are much more decorative than the other tables. I have designed several events with very detailed side views. Beverly Hills Hotel has an indoor vibe similar to this outdoor event.

With such a busy design they chose to go with clear chairs and candelabras. Tri colored candles in blush, white and bronze, floating votive + candelabras'. I also like the head table has left space in front of the couple for guest to come and congratulate the couple.
This wedding party had 10 bridesmaids and groomsmen. Its flawlessly designed and executed...and that is exactly what you are looking for too!

New home....yes!! Gray wood floors! I know it is all possible now! Blue house is about to have an attitude adjustment. I am soo excited. The floor in the kitchen is an eye sore. Wonder if we can get ride of that red tile....one thing at a time!

What do you think about this updated Knot Napkin Tie? It's amazing how the placement of the Knot creates a whole different vibe for the Table Scape! The high corner tie is more formal to me becasue it allows a more flowing, elegant, decadent feel with the fabric. The Middle Knot to me is more casual and can feel very picnic style. Both styles look amazing.

This Couple, Jenn worked in hollywood on set design and Wally was in the Military. Such a wonderful venue for a Destination Wedding. Everyone had their own Cottage and in addition to the pools, snack bar, bike trails, volleyball, horse shoes, well you get it....its an adventure Resort. Just one of many here in Southern California. They party had their own little village to themselves!! It was really cool!

Large Wedding, Small Wedding or Minimony, I can help your dreams come true!

What Is Considered a Small Wedding?
There’s no “one size fits all” scale when it comes to a wedding guest list—different amounts of attendees will feel right to different people based on family makeup, friend groups, culture, religion, etc. I consider 75 to 150 guests to be an “average” size wedding, and anything over 150 to be a “large” wedding. For weddings under 75, i feel those fall into three categories:

Intimate wedding: Between 50 and 75 guests.

Small wedding: Less than 50 guests. That number can fit comfortably in a backyard with 6 or so tables.

Tiny wedding: 15 people or less. (You might also see “minimony” or “micro wedding” used to describe a wedding of this size.)

So in love with these pocket boutineeres. They are just adore. Easy to use. And the best thing is how decorative they are. Catching up to the beauty, style and design that goes into a Bouquet. The best thing about this design to me is the ability to repurpose it to a beautifully dried and pressed design to fill a picture frame. Bathroom, bBaby's Nursery. Kitchen, a ton of places it would look amazing.

What do you think about these adorable Es**rt Cards? I have seen a lot of couples use past trips together as Table Numbers etc. As a matter of Fact, two of my last few weddings had destinations as Table Numbers. The most common Table Marker is a Picture Postcard with the Locations " Lake Tahoe" for example. I really like this out of the box design, to be original and creative, well you are sure to be copied. By those less original, and less creative.
