The XIX Chopin International Piano Competition has come to an end, and what a journey it’s been!

Our warmest congratulations go to Eric Lu, winner of the Gold Medal, and to Tianyao Lyu, winner of the Fourth Prize ex aequo and the Warsaw Philharmonic Award for the best performance of a Concerto — as well as to all the amazing candidates who gifted us with their wonderful renditions of Chopin’s music.

We are proud to stand beside such extraordinary talents and to be the instrument that helps bring their music to life.

A special mention goes to Adam Kałduński, winner of the Bella Davidovich Award for the best performance of a Ballade, and to Xiaoyu Hu, Ziye Tao, Yuanfan Yang, Hanyuan Zhu, Pedro López Salas, Viet Trung Nguyen, and Zuzanna Sejbuk for choosing Fazioli grand piano for their journey through the competition.

Last but not least, our heartfelt thanks go to the amazing FAZIOLI team who made this achievement possible once again.

2025 INTERNATIONAL CHOPIN PIANO COMPETITION’S FINAL ROUND.

The 2025 International Chopin Piano Competition is reaching the final phase and, once again, a Fazioli piano will be on stage.
Two are, in fact, the contestants playing on the Fazioli F278 that reached the Finals of the prestigious competition: Eric Lu (USA) and the young revelation Tianyao Lyu (China).

The final auditions will take place in the Concert Hall of the Warsaw Philharmonic on 18-20 October. Each day, the concerts will begin at 6 p.m. CEST. Both Mr. Lu and Miss Lyu will play on Saturday, October 18th: Eric Lu at 6:55 p.m. and Tianyao Lyu at 8:10 p.m.

The finalists will begin with a performance of Polonaise-Fantasy, Op. 61. They will then play a selected piano concerto by Fryderyk Chopin, either in E minor, Op. 11 or in F minor, Op. 21, accompanied by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Andrzej Boreyko.

Tonight, October 2 at 8:00 pm (CEST), the 2025 International Chopin Piano Competition will open with an inaugural concert at the Warsaw Philharmonic. Under the direction of Andrzej Boreyko, the orchestra will share the stage with four laureates of past editions. The program will feature Bruce Liu performing Camille Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 5 in F major, followed by Yulianna Avdeeva and Garrick Ohlsson in Francis Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra. The evening will conclude with Avdeeva, Liu, Ohlsson, and Dang Thai Son together in Johann Sebastian Bach’s Concerto for Four Pianos.

Of particular note, Bruce Liu will perform both of his appearances on the Fazioli grand piano F278.

FAZIOLI performs at the GRAMMYs with 🎶

The GRAMMY Awards, one of the most prestigious honors in the music industry, celebrate artistic excellence across a wide range of genres. During the 67th annual GRAMMY Awards ceremony that was held in Los Angeles Sunday, February 2, 2025, a special tribute was dedicated to the late Quincy Jones. This heartfelt homage featured performances by several renowned artists, including Cynthia Erivo, Will Smith, Stevie Wonder, and Herbie Hancock, who performed on a Fazioli grand piano.
