My goal is not to simply Perform solo as Sista Sin, Share, Book other bands and Cater yumminess at NOISE FEST. My goal is to challenge and re-invent myself by continuing to create and perform both by myself and with at least one other Act / Entertainer on each bill at Noise Fest. Which is all videoed and add that to the Worldwide Show, "Altered Culture TV" with other segments of entertainment! It

This is not intended to be just another gig for others. I have a DREAM!!! Noise Fest, was initially created as a means to an end or baby steps towards the future for Musician / Artist / Producer Freda Rente’. Freda, a semi- functional agoraphobic, found that after dealing with the frustration of trying to book shows, keep a band together and the long time of suffering due to the anxiety manifested by going out into the world. These two things became boring and something that she desperately needed to move beyond. Finally, Freda made a long awaited decision to go solo. Freda created “Sista Sin” and found herself a pad to make some noise in that wouldn’t be too far in distance and quite cozy. Harold’s Place in San Pedro CA, invited Freda in with open arms. The idea of combining Music, Art and Poetry has always been a small part of the fundraisers hosted by Freda / My Screaming Butterfly Productions over the years and the combo seemed to have went well together making the idea of Music, Art & Poetry much more desirable as an Event on a regular bases. Noise Fest, is giving The Original, The Rarely Seen, and The Obscure, Bands / Entertainers, Artists and Poets/ Readers an opportunity to share their Sounds, Thoughts and Visuals with the public. This is also the chance to prove to ourselves that we can digest something other than the regular or norm. Be a part of something that is growing. This is the time to come together and show support in the name of Art, Poetry & Music. NOISE FEST!
