Today’s the day, y’all! And I’m here to tell you that this union (and party) is going to be EPIC.

The love these two have for each other is fu***ng magical. It exudes from them. I’ve only known them a short time, but on our first consult call I could see how they loved and supported one another in such a gentle and authentic way.

I don’t always cry at weddings, but it’s 1,000% gonna happen today. I just know it. Their partnership is something to aspire to and as proof, see Kelsie’s caption below. Their IG posts are like the cutest, most 🔥 love notes to each other.

Posted • True story: Kels and I both got our period the day of our engagement photoshoot and it was AWESOME (as awesome as being under-caffeinated, bloated, and stuck in pants can be). Kels, these last 8 years, we’ve either been pre-menstrual, menstrual, or post-menstrual together. After all of that, I can still say with absolute certainty — there’s no one else I’d rather share my ibuprofen and french fries with. You’re the one for me and I can’t wait to make it official on Saturday. Happy anniversary, I love you so much.

June Gloom? Pssssh, not up in this house! We just learned that Best Day Ever LA Events has been named Top 25 Wedding Planners in Los Angeles!

Considering that we’ve had zero online social media presence in 2021 (whoops! I blame it on having a covid baby!), I’m so honored that our couples and colleagues still rave about us enough to keep our business purely word-of-mouth. Having a pretty instagram feed is eye-catching and nice, but my time is better spent making sure I’m taking care of the most important part of my business…YOU!

I rarely share photos of myself on my business page, but and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary this week (well, as much as you can during a quarantine)...so I’m in a lovey-gushy mood to walk down memory lane. This was truly the BEST DAY EVER. It also solidified my love for wedding planning and my desire to make it my full-time career. Being able to provide my clients with that unmatchable, euphoric feeling I had on my wedding day is so ridiculously priceless. And, since the hubs won’t let us have a repeat wedding reception every year, luckily I get to live vicariously through the events I plan with my clients. As a massive extrovert who thrives on in-person connection and social closeness, this isolation has been tough on both a personal and professional level. I love waking up to goodies in my inbox! We hired Bergfalk Film as the videographer for a client’s wedding and she made this little BTS video of me on their wedding day. How adorable is that?! Part of the value I offer to my clients is that I only recommend the best of the best...so, while I’m used to receiving top-notch service from wedding vendors...this was such a sweet surprise.
