VIVA New Mexico Chile Festival

Some of the best tasting chile is grown in the middle Rio Grande valley, where Wagner's Farmland Experience, together with other chile farmers from this region, is putting on this wonderful event honoring our state's 100th anniverary. The festival will feature chile farmers loaded with fresh picked chile for sale and for sampling. Other local produce grown in the valley will be available for sale

and food nenus will feature this delightful delicacy. The celebration will have a wide variety of chile contests, live entertainment, arts and crafts, and chile products in every possible configuration. Many other activities are being planned for this two-day event including hay ride tours out to the fields, a corn maze, a petting zoo, u-pick flower gardens, cow milking demonstrations, pony rides, face painting, and speakers covering a cross section of fascinating subjects.
