This community-favorite event brings friends and family together to create lasting memories through a variety of musical genres, including funk, bluegrass, soul, folk, alternative rock, Americana, world music, and more. “This is a Father’s Day tradition that my children have grown up with,” said KCBX General Manager Frank Lanzone, adding, “Now, I am thrilled to be attending the festival with my grandchildren, a multi-generational experience so many others in our community have also enjoyed.” Fifteen acts have been confirmed for 2025 so far, with more to be announced soon. Performers include The California Honeydrops (blues and soul, jazz, R&B), Cimafunk (Afro-Cuban funk), Grateful Shred (Dead-inspired country rock), Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley (virtuoso bluegrass and country), Chuck Prophet and His Cumbia Shoes (alt-country-rock ‘n’ cumbia), High Step Society (EDM-infused Big Band jazz), Margo Cilker (Americana and roots country), Miko Marks (soulful Americana), Jerry & Dawg Revisited (“Dawg Music,” featuring former members of the Garcia Grisman Band), Wolf Jett (cosmic mountain music), Brass Mash (brass band mashups), Two Paper Squares (bluegrassy beach folk), Zen Mountain Poets (psychedelic neo-prog folk jazz), True Zion (reggae), and Murphy Wylde (folk duo).
Tickets are available at the festival’s website (www.liveoakfest.org), along with festival maps, photos and videos, volunteer opportunities, and answers to frequently asked questions. Additional performer details and a full schedule of music and family activities during the festival will become available in the coming weeks.
