Good Afternoon Friends!

At Down Home Events & Design we enjoy putting together theme based events or get togethers. We love to add the special touches that you would like to see or the small touches that make your day sparkle.

I’ve posted these before but . . .a Harry Potter themed engagement party equipped with talking sorting hat and a Quidditch Pitch. It was magical!

We would enjoy the honor of you choosing our small business to plan, decorate, or do both for your special BBQ themed wedding, an All Hallows’ Eve event, birthday, Halloween or Christmas Party, etc.

As we are currently scouting property for our venue we will go to your chosen venue to assist with your day.

Good Day Everyone!

Pictures of another successful DHE bridal shower.
All decor and special touches designed to highlight the bride to be.

The special touches designed included Bunco items to enhance the celebration and friendship of welcoming the newest “Bunco Babe” member. The venue was the private home of a family friend.

DHE is currently and actively searching for the perfect venue to accommodate and allow your vision and expectations of your event to shine. However, in the meantime, we will be happy to meet you at the venue of your choosing.

If you need signs for your event we can make that happen. We have mirrors to rent that can be personalized for your occasion. If you should want a personalized sign for a gift or to commemorate your special day we will be able to assist you.

If you reside in the Louisville, KY area and are interested in a worry and stress free day for your get together allow DHE to be a small part of your big day.

Good Evening!

Just wanted to share some pics of the Roman-Greco Wedding DHE had the privilege to design.

DHE is a new event design small business that takes pleasure in assisting you with your special day or event. We would love to plan your baby shower, engagement party, anniversary, birthday party or any other event you have in mind. Our specialty is themed events.

If you are interested in a worry free day DHE would love to meet with you. We will assist you in bringing your dream event to life. We will discuss your vision, provide displays of your choosing for table settings, cake table, bridal party table, etc.

We will also design or plan activities for your day. We designed a tailor made crossword puzzle for the cocktail party at this wedding.

We will set up and tear down so that you can enjoy your event, your company, and not have to worry about clean up after the festivities are done.

If a worry free day is something that interests you then let DHE be a small part of your big day.

DHE’s been stayin’ busy getting ready for our next event in March. Over the moon at the positive feedback we’ve been receiving from our clients. To that end, I wanted to make this guy officially official. This is our DHE Event Design and Decor Service “One Flat Rate” package. It includes everything you see in the ad below for one affordable flat rate. No hidden fees to be found. You know what you’re paying and you know what it’s going towards. That flat rate will differ from client to client depending on the size and type of the event but the central price sits at $1200 for average headcount for most occasions. It only goes up from there if the headcount’s well over 100 guests. If it’s less than the $1200 headcount pride then the price is less. Simple as that. Do us a favor and share this as much as you can! We love having dates on our calendar!

Good Morning Everyone!

Updates for DHE.

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be hosting a booth at Flea on 53 in LaGrange, KY on Oct 8 & 9. Mark your calendar! We will be on the lawn. Please stop by and introduce yourself. Browse the displays and event vignettes me and my sister have created.

The following are designs for gender reveal table displays. These will be available for $20 a piece at the booth. Each baby tee display has a side for a girl and boy.

More handmade Down Home items will be available for display or to purchase for a great gift idea, a centerpiece for your event, a keepsake for someone special, or just a treat for yourself.
