Chef Ellen Gill McCarty has grown-up with Food & Dining being a huge part of her life – her family opened Science Hill Inn Dining Room in Shelbyville, KY over 38 years ago where she worked as head helper as a child to then Head Chef! The Gill Family is no longer affiliated with Science Hill Inn Dining Room, but sure loved their long run of serving Shelbyville and surrounding city families Lunch, Brunch, Dinner and private parties too!

After battling Cancer for the 3rd time - Ellen's love for cooking has called her to open her own small service catering company where people can now Dial her for Dishes - "Gill on the Go"! She will of course feature some of her famous dishes, Hot Browns, Pimento Cheese, Benedictine, Chicken Salad and more. Menu suggestions and specials will be posted monthly plus Chef Ellen will create specialized meals for Seniors.
