Nanih Waiya Community Park is a privately funded park with a meeting venue for weddings, community and private events, playground, walking track, band stand, lake, water fountain, picnic tables and grill, located in Nanih Waiya, MS. Our Story

The Nanih Waiya Community has come together and built a beautiful park and community center. We are extremely proud of the fact that phase one of this major community driven project was completed without any government funding or influence and is one of the only privately funded community parks in rural America.

The Peggy Stokes Community Center is used on a regular basis for community meetings, family gatherings and celebrations. Our state-of-the-art playground is being enjoyed by the youngest members of our community and our quarter-mile walking track, which will rival any other, is being utilized daily by all age groups.
