We’ve been so busy lately in the most exciting way now that September/fall weddings are in full force. However, our hearts are still on all the love stories that came to life during these past couple of months. We truly feel grateful to be a part of so many happily ever afters!! Especially this day back in August with The Cox’s. It was such a beautiful day.

Why choose a wedding party when you already have so many besties & your sibs by your side ✨

This was one of the many favorite things we absolutely loved about this wedding!!

Gracie & David both chose their siblings to be the official wedding party (see all these cuties last pic :)). But they also included all their closest besties to be a part of the day as well as honorary members.

They were all together for the rehearsal.
They were all together while getting ready in the morning.
They were all together until the very end.
You could feel the love just explode with this group!

So don’t feel pressured to have to pick a certain number when it comes to a wedding party. Whether their actually in the wedding or there for the extra support, your favorite people will be by your side on your wedding day no matter what!

The seltzer’s have been off the hook with weddings!! (I mean just look at our thriving bride 🤩). They are a great choice to add to the beer selections for the bar.

But let’s have some real talk….
Not only have the happily married couples been letting loose; but also the guests. Weddings are even more hyped this season with everyone being cooped up for the past year. So PLEASE PLEASE make sure to be aware of a couple of things:
1. end time with the amount of alcohol that is being served
2. plenty of water available
3. transportation for afterwards
4. the thought of having a late night snack
5. discussions with your coordinator + venue about alcohol policies

Along with having a bombing good time & dancing the night away, safety is the most important! So party on party people, just be smart about it 🤘🏼

Planner Tip: repurpose ceremonial florals into the reception!

These oversized floral pieces by the wonderful were used as aisle markers at the church. Once the ceremony was over she brought them to the venue to make even more statements in the party space. Talk about a STATEMENT ✨

We LOVE to see it!! Of course detail shots are always gorgeous for the bridal things, but what about his accessories? Don’t count the fella out so quickly.

What would his details include? Watches, cuff links, socks, cologne, cigar, suspenders, tie or even pocket squares. (Just make sure to pack everything for him!!).

I mean come on, this magic created with , , & is simply gold {+ colorful}. We can’t thank enough from the bottom of our hearts everyone who helped bring our bride’s vision to life. What a day to remember!!

Incredible shoutout to our boss lady, !! This woman knocked it out of the ballpark with this one. We couldn’t be more thankful for all of the many, many, manyyyy months of work she put in. Always grateful for our fearless leader.

Walking away from this month with lots of full feelings….

It’s been a month!! A long month. But as we remember this month we can’t help but grin ear to ear with the 5 weddings we had (2 offsite { & }, 3 at The Pointe + 2 were from Covid!), numerous of planning meetings, consultations, vendor meetings, final walk throughs, phone calls, site visits & new couples to work with. We’ve created lots, been hands on in the planning process with more partial weddings & are beginning to grow (be ready for announcement tomorrow 😉)! Wedding season is here y’all!! And we are so grateful to be a part of it.

As we continue through this season, let us also always remember.. love is love And everyday is a day to celebrate it!

PS: we’re obsessedddd with this couple. Scarlett + Kayla, we absolutely CAN’T WAIT for September. It’s gonna be something special ✨

What’s the perk of having TWO photographers?

This right here: being able to take shots of both sides at the SAME TIME!

There are photographers out there that will bring a second shooter or two will be working together, but they stay together the whole time….. Which is not necessarily a bad thing.

HOWEVER - when you have two photographers that can do multiple things at once, it helps the timeline + the day just run soooooo much smoother. Plus, you get equal amount of photos back from both sides!

So if adding on a second shooter to the photography package make sure to ask what the responsibilities will be for each. If they just assist alongside the main photographer or they are capable of separating to capture even more!

Walking into the most breathtaking reception like…

Y’ALL…. THIS 👏🏻 WEEKEND 👏🏻. It was truly everything.

Two and a half years in the making (thanks to Covid) but the wait was well worth it.

The most stunning bride, in a gorgeous dress, with table scape florals the size of your face, pops of color blooms that will make you cry and all the beautiful details one could dream of. In the wise words of Lizzie McGuire, “THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF!”

It’s all in the details 🤍

To the Bride to Be: Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your artsy fartsy friends! Things like signage can really add up, so if you got that creative eye person that loves to get the paintbrush out and calligraphie the heck out of some acrylic signs, DO IT!

This past weekend, one of our bridesmaids made the most beautiful pieces that really brought the cohesiveness design together. Signage included Welcome Sign, Memorial Cubby, Seating Chart, Table #’s, Bar Signage & Guest Gift Table. The littlest details can really make a huge impact. Ahmazing job sista.

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted so why not start back with a planning tip that we’ve had lots of questions about recently!

• Wrist Corsages vs. Pinned Corsages •

The pinned corsages are definitely the traditional formal approach to florals for the mothers and grandmothers.

- - > However, we’ve been seeing more and more the use of wrist, bracelet corsages for a number of various reasons.

1. The pinned corsage can be very heavy for a dress. Typical mom dresses are more fragile with beading and a delicate fabric vs. a men’s suit that is more stern. Due to this, the corsage can easily be weighed down which means… more pins. And not that many women want pins in their dresses.

2. Another thing to think about is the corsage is usually more florals incorporated than the average boutonnière. So when it comes to the right spot to pin on a lady, it can easily interfere with the face. We’ve definitely had to cut our fare share of extra greenery and florals out to make sure it wasn’t itching on the women’s neck. AKA - more comfortable!!

3. Last reason to share is the wrist corsage is just better for photo moments. It’s there as the mother is buttoning up her daughters dress. It’s there when walking down the aisle hand in hand with their es**rt during the ceremony. It’s there for the first dance as the mother holds her hands around her son. It’s there!

So while we always love & enjoy the traditional aspects of weddings, the wrist corsage is a new trend that we are very much about!

Raise your hands in the air if you’re ready to get this wedding party started!!

Oooooh man, the feeling of being back with our couples + all their closest people just has us in all the feels. Today marks a new month of pure spring beauty & that includes spending our weekends with all the party people.

Planner Tip - - - > WATER.EAT.SIP.REPEAT.

Since COVID, people are getting EXTRA litty. (Take it from us, this is not a drill!)
Being cooped up for a year + the capacity limits in bars/restaurants, weddings may be the first event guests have been too in a looong time.

This is why we’re also seeing an increase with weddings ending later.

So WEDDING PARTY, especially: be careful for the amount of alcohol consumed throughout the day. Drink plenty of water, eat lots of food & SIP DON’T CHUG. Of course, have fun but always be safe.

HELLOOOO WDNG SZN. Let’s celebrate good times COME ON! 🤘🏼
