Happy New Year!

Please allow me to reintroduce myself, I am Queta King. The girl behind the baseball cap turned to the back, the stained crocs, the leggings and sometimes face covered in some sort of paint, in efforts to get the job done!

While there are many words that are used to describe myself; mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, philanthropist, innovative, edgy, go getter, feisty, problem solver and dream catcher, I take much pride in the role as business owner.

I am the owner of Reign Events. A family operated and staffed, full service event design company located in Louisville, KY.

In 2018, I eagerly started the business with just 8 pieces of inventory. To date, we house hundreds of pieces that are incorporated into our ever so detailed designs. I contribute my passion for event design to spending weekends with my grandfather (Papa) as he worked in the event planning industry when I was a child. At 82 years of age, he is now a vital part of the Reign team. I’ve been planning and designing events for family and friends since the age of 13. Over the years, I’ve dived into studying the ins and outs of event design and have become distinguished in the field.

In 2019, I walked away from Corporate America to completely focus on Reign. In 2020, we opened doors to our event space and were awarded “Best Event Planner” by our community. In 2021, awarded for our contributions throughout the community.

To date, Reign has worked with established corporations as well entertainment industry elites. However, we are most grateful for our community based clients and the relationships formed.

My greatest joy is creating long lasting memories that our clients are proud of when their guests walk through the door. I find true purpose in brightening the lives of others, be it through my community giveback endeavors or just a beautifully designed event. I take pride in delivering seamless encounters with clients, as well as maintaining a professionally ran business.
